Small fix — that is a reconstructed entry rather than a contemporaneous one, and the post presents it as the latter.

Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 32, before I needed it.
Adding one thing — decide what maintenance looks like before you arrive at it.

Small correction, said kindly: those are two different products with similar names, and the difference matters for a multi-draw vial.

This one needs a clinician rather than a comment section, and we have said so in the thread rather than removing it.

Contemporaneous records do not drift; reconstructed ones do, and the drift is systematic rather than random because memory smooths.

That is area percent from a certificate, not the amount of peptide in the vial. Two different numbers and a very common mix-up.

Annotation is what makes a log survive contact with your future self.
This is the whole discipline in one line. Contemporaneous, consistent, minimal.

comment on stalled for 15 weeks at 1.7mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/bloodwork · -8 points · 1 year ago
The confounding problem, stated plainly, because this board keeps stepping on it.
Substantial weight loss moves lipids, liver enzymes, insulin sensitivity markers and several others in its own right. If you are losing weight while taking something, any change in those markers has at least two candidate explanations and you cannot separate them from your own panel.
What you can do is standardise, take a baseline, keep the series long, and be honest in your posts about what is and is not attributable. The threads that say "this compound did X to my triglycerides" almost never have the design to support the claim, mine included.

Cash pricing, which people skip because they assume coverage is the only route.
Prices at the counter vary between pharmacies, sometimes substantially, in the same city. Members here have found spreads worth a real amount per month by ringing four places and asking for the cash price of a specific presentation.
That does not make coverage unimportant. It does mean that while an authorization is in process — which can take weeks — knowing the actual cash spread is worth half an hour of phone calls. Post what you find with the province and the month; the comparison threads here work for exactly the same reason the UK pricing tracker does.
comment on [Question] heart rate — what am I missing here in c/sideeffects · 243 points · 2 years ago
Small fix — the shedding follows the rate of weight loss, not the compound, and it is temporary.
comment on [Discussion] the nausea advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/sideeffects · 62 points · 2 years ago
Severe or persistent abdominal pain sits outside the pattern this board can usefully discuss. The honest answer there is that it needs someone who can examine you.
comment on small win: sulphur burps stopped being a problem at week 55 in c/sideeffects · -21 points · 2 years ago
Keeping a log, and what to put in it.
One line a day: dose, day since injection, what the symptom was and how bad out of five, and roughly what you ate. Two months of that fits on one page and the pattern is obvious on paper in a way it never is in your head.
Mine showed a clean day-two-to-day-four window I had been describing as "random". Once you can see the pattern you can plan around it, and planning around it is most of the relief.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use. That is a plain statement of regulatory fact and it belongs in every beginner thread.
comment on [Results] 30 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 82 points · 2 years ago
The two levers, described properly, because this board mixes them up constantly.
Reducing the dose lowers average exposure while keeping the weekly rhythm. Stretching the interval keeps the dose but lowers the trough between injections, which — with a week-long half-life — is why people notice appetite returning towards the end of a stretched cycle before they see anything on the scale.
The reported pattern here is stretching in small steps, a week to ten days to twelve, with appetite as the signal rather than the scale. Some people find dose reduction more comfortable. Neither is a schedule anybody here can hand you, and the fact that this phase has the least published guidance is exactly why board consensus deserves less weight than usual.
