genuine question about dose stretching that I am slightly embarrassed to ask
genuine question about dose stretching that I am slightly embarrassed to ask. I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.
Chased the last three kilos with a dose increase and got a fortnight of sulphur burps and no change in the number.
Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 81, before I needed it. Having decided in advance made the transition boring.
Maintenance is the phase with the least published guidance and the most individual variation, which is precisely why board consensus here is worth less than usual.
Research-use-only material is not approved for human use and nothing here should be read as a recommendation to use it.

Body weight varies by a couple of kilos over days in stable people through fluid, glycogen and gut content. A range is not a trend.
Removed the taper schedule aimed at another member. Describe your own; do not write theirs.
Dose reduction and interval extension are different interventions. Halving the dose keeps the rhythm and lowers the level; stretching keeps the level and lowers the frequency, with a lower trough.
plan the maintenance phase before you need it
monthly weigh-ins are enough at this stage
appetite returns before the scale acknowledges anything
a few kilos of drift is not a relapse
boring is the objective now
the lowest effective dose is a real target and nobody talks about it
Is the goal weight still the one you picked at the start?
Cosigning on planning it in advance. Deciding what maintenance looks like while still losing is much easier than deciding it in a panic.
