Thinking out loud about this: the EU advice in here is 3 years out of date. 3 years — those are the numbers, and they are the ones I am willing to defend. Nothing here…

comment on [Question] does an EU prescription travel across member states or not in c/glp1eu · 9 points · 6 days ago
Published reimbursement criteria exist in most member states and are usually available in the national language. They are the authoritative answer to eligibility questions that this board can only guess at.
comment on [Country] SE/NO/DK — Norway is the outlier and not in a good way in c/glp1eu · 6 points · 10 days ago
Disagree. That is one member state’s reimbursement rule and it does not generalise across the union.
comment on [PSA] EMA notice out, national agencies will lag by weeks in c/glp1eu · 8 points · 12 days ago
Are you comparing the same presentation, or different pack sizes?
comment on [Discussion] the EU advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/glp1eu · -27 points · 2 months ago
The variation between pharmacies inside my own country was larger than the variation I had been chasing across the border.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about EU until somebody posts a number in c/glp1eu · 11 points · 3 months ago
Read the published reimbursement criteria where I live rather than asking. Took twenty minutes and answered everything.
comment on the dose stretching thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 31 points · 4 months ago
the goal weight you picked at week 1 was a guess
comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on EU in c/glp1eu · 32 points · 6 months ago
pack sizes differ, so per-month comparisons need care
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for EMA posts in c/glp1eu · 32 points · 7 months ago

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring EU at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1eu · 15 points · 8 months ago
A supply notice in one member state made the front page here and had no effect at all where I am.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · -1 points · 8 months ago
None of this is a taper plan. What dose holds for you is a question for somebody with your history in front of them.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about long term until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 5 points · 11 months ago
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
comment on genuine question about dose stretching that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/maintenancephase · 42 points · 1 year ago
monthly weigh-ins are enough at this stage
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about goal weight is guesswork in c/maintenancephase · 8 points · 1 year ago
Interval stretching changes the exposure profile: with a week-long half-life, moving to ten or twelve days lowers trough concentration more than it lowers average exposure. That is why appetite return is often the first thing noticed.
comment on how much of what we believe about pharmacy actually comes from EMA threads in c/glp1eu · 61 points · 1 year ago
keep the prescription and the receipt, both matter for claims
comment on switched from 1.7mg to 2.4mg and nausea got better, not worse in c/maintenancephase · 37 points · 1 year ago
maintenance is a phase, not a finish line
comment on [Discussion] the goal weight advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
Correcting myself: 5 months at maintenance, not the figure I posted. I keep rounding it up.
comment on [Discussion] the goal weight advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/maintenancephase · 7 points · 1 year ago
appetite returns before the scale acknowledges anything
comment on [Discussion] Apotheke is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1eu · 0 points · 1 year ago
Pack sizes and presentations differ between member states, so a headline price is not comparable until it is normalised to a common quantity.
comment on why does nobody talk about regain in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
Body weight varies by a couple of kilos over days in stable people through fluid, glycogen and gut content. A range is not a trend.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring goal weight at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 270 points · 1 year ago
Maintenance is the phase with the least published guidance and the most individual variation, which is precisely why board consensus here is worth less than usual.
comment on why does nobody talk about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 62 points · 1 year ago
stretching the interval is not the same as reducing the dose
comment on three years of long term threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
Drifted up 14kg over a winter and panicked. It came back off without any change, which is apparently just what weight does.

plan the maintenance phase before you need it
comment on stalled for 3 weeks at 0.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/maintenancephase · 39 points · 2 years ago
The habits from the losing phase are what carry it now. That is not inspirational, it is just what happened.
comment on Apotheke — 10 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1eu · 18 points · 2 years ago
Compared prices across two neighbouring countries and found the difference was mostly pack size once I normalised it.
comment on [Results] 19 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 2 years ago
Same. Monthly is plenty at this stage and daily weighing made me miserable for no information gain.
comment on how much of what we believe about dose stretching actually comes from regain threads in c/maintenancephase · -8 points · 2 years ago
Chased the last three kilos with a dose increase and got a fortnight of muscle cramps and no change in the number.
