Thinking out loud about this: the EU advice in here is 3 years out of date.
3 years — those are the numbers, and they are the ones I am willing to defend.
Nothing here is medical or legal advice, and eligibility questions have national answers that a pharmacist where you live can give you in minutes.
Compared prices across two neighbouring countries and found the difference was mostly pack size once I normalised it.
That is everything I have. The rest is opinion and I have tried to keep it out.

This is the split the whole board depends on. Authorisation is European; payment is national.

The variation between pharmacies inside my own country was larger than the variation I had been chasing across the border.
Assumed a prescription would be honoured across the border. It was not, and the rules are clear once you actually read them.
