the memo field matters on the chains that use one

the same token exists on several chains and they are not interchangeable

Lyophilisation removes the water that drives most degradation pathways. That is why the dry cake is comparatively robust and the reconstituted solution is not.

Are you reading the publication or a summary?

comment on the UK: reimbursement, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1eu · 20 points · 5 months ago

I would not treat one pharmacy’s quote as a national price.

This is the split the whole board depends on. Authorisation is European; payment is national.

Assumed the weight numbers were the point and was corrected. They are secondary to what this is being developed for.

How many separate lots has anyone here tested?

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify incretin in c/glp1science · 28 points · 6 months ago

Started reading limitations sections first. It has changed how much weight I give to almost everything posted here.

permalink

comment on someone explain FLOW to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/trialwatch · 65 points · 6 months ago

Disagree — that figure is from the diabetes programme and you are quoting it as an obesity endpoint.

permalink

comment on [Meta] the FLOW rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 6 months ago

Not convinced.

Disagreeing with this line: that is a relative reduction and the absolute numbers are considerably less dramatic.

Open-label extensions lose their randomisation. Anybody still enrolled at week 104 is a selected group and the numbers describe that group.

comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on packaging in c/coldchain · 8 points · 7 months ago

Regional stock changes the question rather than answering it: shorter lanes mean less exposure and fewer variables, which is why the warehouse question is worth asking before ordering in summer.

comment on the chargeback question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/cryptopay · 9 points · 7 months ago

Agreed that quote expiry is ordinary. Rates move and a time-limited quote is not a pressure tactic on its own.

comment on week 36 check-in — 12kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/survodutide · 2 points · 8 months ago

Cosigning on the glucagon arm. It is the mechanistic thread that connects the hepatic and the metabolic effects.

permalink

comment on [Question] mechanism — what am I missing here in c/glp1science · 109 points · 9 months ago

Small fix — it slows gastric emptying, it does not halt it, and the distinction matters for the mechanism you are proposing.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about ice pack is guesswork in c/coldchain · 4 points · 11 months ago

Is this a line they hold in regional stock or is it shipping from origin?

This is the distinction that resolves most threads here — powder and solution are different problems.

comment on the co-agonism thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/cagrilintide · 23 points · 11 months ago

Complementary mechanisms are the rationale for pairing: satiety signalling alongside incretin signalling, rather than more agonism at the same receptor.

comment on Spain: data logger, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 2 points · 11 months ago

Put a logger in three consecutive orders. Two never went above the range at all and the third spent four hours warm on a Friday. Cost me almost nothing to stop wondering.

ask what storage condition the stability statement was written against

permalink

comment on Spain: data logger, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 72 points · 11 months ago

Small fix — refrigerated, not frozen, once it is in solution.

comment on reading pharmacy threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1eu · 4 points · 1 year ago

Nothing here is medical or legal advice, and eligibility questions have national answers that a pharmacist where you live can give you in minutes.

This is the split the whole board depends on. Authorisation is European; payment is national.

comment on [Results] 2 weeks on 7.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/cagrilintide · 0 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that is the combination programme, not the monotherapy readout. Different arms, different numbers.

comment on 4 months in and hepatic fat is still the thing I get wrong in c/survodutide · 37 points · 1 year ago

Read the phase 2 hepatic paper properly and the endpoint definitions were more interesting than the headline response rate.

permalink

comment on SURPASS — 15 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/trialwatch · 4 points · 1 year ago

a press release is not a publication

permalink

comment on is it normal to get muscle cramps at week 88 in c/survodutide · 1 points · 1 year ago

This. Biopsy-confirmed and imaging-suggested are different evidentiary categories and get run together constantly.

permalink

comment on three years of appetite threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1science · 24 points · 1 year ago

Does the effect persist with continued dosing or does tolerance develop?

permalink

comment on [Question] Australia — has anyone got a straight answer on confirmations in c/cryptopay · 40 points · 1 year ago

Push back: an unconfirmed transaction is not a missing payment. Wait for confirmations before escalating.

comment on [Discussion] Apotheke is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1eu · 28 points · 1 year ago

Yes. Pack sizes differ enough that per-month price comparisons across borders need to be normalised before they mean anything.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify SURPASS in c/trialwatch · 19 points · 1 year ago

Read a press release and the publication three months apart.

Adding the check nobody runs — the registered protocol is public and takes two minutes to compare.

comment on [Lab] Homopeptide survo — Medutest came back 98.4% against a claimed 98.0% in c/survodutide · 16 points · 1 year ago

That figure is from the obesity programme, and this thread is about the hepatic one.

Which networks did they list as accepted?

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify prescription in c/glp1eu · 5 points · 1 year ago

Cosigning on cross-border prescriptions. The rules exist and they are narrower than the summaries suggest.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about USDC is guesswork in c/cryptopay · 21 points · 1 year ago

Disagree — a quote expiry is normal when a rate is being held. Pressure to decide immediately is a different thing.

permalink

comment on the data logger question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/coldchain · 90 points · 1 year ago

Asked SSA which lines they hold regionally and got a straight list back. That answered my summer ordering question completely.

permalink

comment on [Results] 38 weeks, 6kg, and satiety was the hard part in c/cagrilintide · 42 points · 1 year ago

Independent purity data on this compound is sparse compared with the older molecules, simply because far fewer members have paid for testing. Sparse data means wide uncertainty, not a verdict.
