comment on anyone else notice constipation kicking in around week 7 in c/sideeffects · 16 points · 4 months ago

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

comment on stalled for 15 weeks at 1.0mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/sideeffects · 40 points · 5 months ago

Kept a one-line-a-day log for two months. The pattern was obvious on paper and invisible in my head.

comment on [Question] EMS — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · 5 points · 5 months ago

Split one order across two months on purpose to compare summer and winter. Four days apart, same carrier, same route.

a rough fortnight at each step is normal, a rough three months is not

This. Ask for the batch record. The ones who send it inside a day have told you more than any review could.

comment on does carrier actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 136 points · 6 months ago

Total transit decomposes into first mile, international leg, clearance and last mile. Only the first two are meaningfully under the shipper’s control and most reported variance sits in the last two.

A shoulder that does not baseline-resolve cannot be quantified honestly.

Disagreeing with this bit: that spread is ordinary inter-lab variance, not a disagreement about the material.

Is this a prior authorisation denial or a formulary exclusion?

Did the lot code on the vial match the paperwork?

Cosigning the wavelength point. Half the disagreements in this board are two people looking at different detectors.

comment on [PSA] reship is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/vendorvetting · 99 points · 8 months ago

Not convinced by the ranking-by-vibe approach here. The community number is derived from reports; your feeling is derived from four posts you remember.

What wavelength, and what was the gradient?

Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.

the wider-market names in the table are there because nobody has enough data on them

the last mile is where most of the variance lives

Did the lot code on the vial match the paperwork?

External review was the thing that finally worked. I did not know it existed until a thread on this board.

Reflux was the one that got me. Stopped eating in the three hours before bed and it went from nightly to almost never.

Correction: that was clearance time, not carrier time. The lane table separates them for exactly this reason.

How many shipments does your figure cover?

Do they publish a reship policy, and did you read it before ordering?

the source page log is more useful than the score above it

permalink

the food noise going quiet is the effect people came for, and early fullness is the toll for the first fortnight

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify order records in c/vendorvetting · 99 points · 1 year ago

Yes, and the reason the wider-market table has no scores is that a score built on two reports would be a lie with a decimal point.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about step therapy in c/insurancefights · 891 points · 1 year ago

Prior authorisation criteria are republished each plan year. A criterion that blocked you in one year may not exist in the next, so a denial is worth retesting after the turnover.

Regional stock made more difference to my planning than anything else — ordering from a warehouse in Sweden took the customs question off the table entirely.

a quoted lead time you can hold them to is worth more than a fast one you cannot

Kept a spreadsheet of quoted versus actual lead time across 17 orders. The quoted number held.

That is a report count, not a test count. The table lists both and they are very different numbers.

reflux at night, try not eating in the three hours before bed

Adding to this — holding the dose rather than stepping is the option people forget they have.

permalink

comment on someone explain special authorization to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1canada · 20 points · 1 year ago

Yes. Approval and coverage are separate, and this board conflates them in about half its threads.

Push back: your plan is an employer plan, which changes both the appeal path and who the regulator is.

System suitability — repeat injections, tailing factor, plate count, RSD on area — is what tells you the instrument was fit for the measurement that day. Without it, the purity figure is unanchored.
