comment on [Formulary] provincial differences, mapped, with dates in c/glp1canada · 3 points · 22 hr ago

Special authorization is a documented exception process with published criteria. Applications that answer those criteria explicitly, point by point, fare better than general clinical narratives.

Correcting my own comment above: I said day three and my log says day two. Same pattern, wrong day.

comment on [Correction] you cannot report area% to two decimals off that baseline in c/hplc · 11 points · 6 days ago

How old is the column and roughly how many injections has it seen?

comment on [Win] approved after i sent them their own policy criteria back in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 9 days ago

This is the whole method.

Agreed — and request the bulletin by number. They have to give it to you.

What is intake actually looking like — fibre and water especially?

nobody warns you about how much of this is timing rather than dose

A shoulder that does not baseline-resolve cannot be quantified honestly. You can report it as an unresolved shoulder, which is useful information, or you can develop the method until it resolves.

comment on [Vendor] JEEP six orders in, zero problems, and i am suspicious of my own luck in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 19 days ago

A certificate with a purity figure and no method line is not falsifiable. You cannot reproduce it, you cannot check it, and it tells you nothing about how the number was produced.

Not convinced by that mechanism. Slowed gastric emptying explains fullness and reflux; it does not explain what you are describing.

Appeal deadlines run from the date on the determination letter. They are strict, they are short, and a missed deadline usually forfeits that level entirely.

comment on method development — 14 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/hplc · 26 points · 29 days ago

Retention time shifted 0.4 minutes and I assumed the worst. It was the column temperature.

permalink

comment on [PSA] external review is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/insurancefights · 10 points · 1 months ago

Is this a prior authorisation denial or a formulary exclusion?

permalink

comment on [Question] HPLC — what am I missing here in c/hplc · 81 points · 1 months ago

Agreed, and it is why HJ printing the column and gradient on the certificate is genuinely useful rather than decorative.

comment on [Vendor] SGN is a real company with real catalogue chemistry and people still doubt it in c/vendorvetting · 4 points · 1 months ago

Asked GGPeps for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day. That is the bar now.

permalink

comment on [Question] nausea — what am I missing here in c/sideeffects · 4 points · 1 months ago

The effect on gastric emptying is most pronounced early and attenuates with continued dosing, which is the mechanism behind the "it settles at a stable dose" pattern the whole board reports.

permalink

comment on [Question] Canada — has anyone got a straight answer on DHL in c/intlshipping · 3 points · 1 months ago

Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.

What exactly does the denial letter give as the reason?

if it is severe or persistent that is a clinician question, not a board question

hassan_ostergaard is right about the timing. The day-of-week pattern is the diagnostic bit, not the severity.

That is the quoted lead time, not the observed transit. Both belong in the report and they are different columns.

comment on [PSA] HPLC is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/hplc · 6 points · 1 months ago

Gave the same trace to two people I trust and got two integrations about a point apart. That was the most educational afternoon I have had here.

comment on Medutest is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/vendorvetting · 7 points · 1 months ago

Kept a spreadsheet of quoted versus actual lead time across 10 orders. The quoted number held.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about HPLC is guesswork in c/hplc · 33 points · 2 months ago

Agreed, and it is why FGP printing the column and gradient on the certificate is genuinely useful rather than decorative.

yara_boateng is right — the integration choice is a decision and it should be stated alongside the result.

I would not read one pharmacy’s cash price as the going rate. The spread is real.

comment on week 73 check-in — 28kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/sideeffects · 11 points · 2 months ago

Are you eating in the couple of hours before you sleep?

This is the shape almost everybody here describes, and it is the single most reassuring thing in the thread.

comment on someone explain Apotheke to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1eu · 26 points · 2 months ago

Pack sizes and presentations differ between member states, so a headline price is not comparable until it is normalised to a common quantity.

Disagreeing with this bit: that criterion belongs to one member state and is being quoted as general.

comment on the gradient question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/hplc · 21 points · 2 months ago

Carryover from a previous high-concentration injection looks exactly like a small impurity. The blank injection is four minutes and it removes the ambiguity entirely.

comment on someone explain DHL to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/intlshipping · 37 points · 2 months ago

Clearance took three days and the carrier took nine. I had been blaming the wrong half for two years.

permalink

comment on does HPLC actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/hplc · 62 points · 3 months ago

Agreed, and it is why WWB printing the column and gradient on the certificate is genuinely useful rather than decorative.

permalink

comment on help me understand integration, I have read the wiki twice in c/hplc · 1 points · 3 months ago

Can you post the trace with the axes labelled?

Agreed. And the corollary is that the method line on a certificate is not decoration, it is the number’s provenance.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about method development until somebody posts a number in c/hplc · 150 points · 3 months ago

Ran a blank after a high-concentration injection and found the carryover I had been calling an impurity.

Adding one practical thing — run the blank. It answers this before anyone has to argue about it.

Asked in my own language at a local pharmacy and got a clearer answer in five minutes than a fortnight of forum reading.

spain_receta is right about cross-border recognition being narrower than the summaries suggest.

comment on [Lab] split one vial across Janoshik and Medutest — 98.1% and 98.9% in c/vendorvetting · 2 points · 4 months ago

Agree. The verification log is the part with the checkable facts in it; the number at the top is just a summary of a lot of averaging.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about reflux in c/sideeffects · 6 points · 4 months ago

Constipation is mostly reduced intake plus reduced fluid, not a direct effect. That is why the boring fibre and water answer keeps working.
