comment on [Lab] two reta batches, two services, 98.4% and 97.9% in c/retatrutide · 9 points · 3 days ago
Agreed, and the framing that helps is: this is a phase 2 compound with phase 3 running. Everything else is inference.
comment on [Question] does carrier choice matter more than origin city in c/intlshipping · 6 points · 4 days ago
customs clearance time is not carrier time and they get conflated
comment on [Question] step therapy — how do i document failing something cheaper in c/insurancefights · 19 points · 5 days ago
What has been documented as tried, and for how long?
comment on [Lane Report] Wuxi → Germany, 8 days, best packaging i have seen in c/intlshipping · 0 points · 10 days ago
A quoted lead time is a commitment you can evaluate. Measuring quoted against actual across several orders tells you more about an operation than the raw speed does.
comment on the dose escalation question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/retatrutide · 22 points · 17 days ago
Sent a vial to Medutest out of curiosity. Result was 97.6% against a claimed 97.0%, which is the first independent number I had seen for this compound anywhere.

small trial, big effect, wide error bars
comment on Spain: carrier, and what it actually costs here in c/intlshipping · 28 points · 28 days ago
I would not read a single slow shipment as a lane change. Post it and let the median move if it is real.
comment on shipping is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/intlshipping · 7 points · 1 months ago
a lane with four reports is not yet a lane
comment on normal is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/newbiequestions · 260 points · 1 months ago
Correcting my own answer earlier — I said week 22 and the wiki says week 3. The wiki is right.
comment on normal is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/newbiequestions · 92 points · 1 months ago
Is this your first step up or the starting dose?
comment on normal is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/newbiequestions · 93 points · 1 months ago
research-use-only material is not approved for human use, and that belongs in every beginner thread
comment on TRIUMPH is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/retatrutide · 22 points · 2 months ago
Went up slowly, deliberately, because everything on this board says the escalation is where trouble lives. Uneventful so far and I am not going to pretend that is a finding.
comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on shipping in c/intlshipping · 51 points · 2 months ago
regional stock changes everything about transit
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about copay until somebody posts a number in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 2 months ago
Have you asked for the clinical policy bulletin by number?
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about transit time until somebody posts a number in c/intlshipping · 11 points · 2 months ago
Same. TFC quoted 14 days on my lane and it landed at 4, which is exactly what you want from a quote.
comment on prior authorization — 22 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/insurancefights · 20 points · 2 months ago
Disagree with the tone strategy. Anger has never moved a determination; matching the criterion has.
comment on prior authorization — 22 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/insurancefights · 74 points · 2 months ago
Have you asked for the clinical policy bulletin by number?
comment on my triglycerides moved and I cannot work out whether what is is why in c/newbiequestions · 2 points · 3 months ago
This.
ruben_cabrera has explained this better than the wiki does, which is saying something.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about external review is guesswork in c/insurancefights · 64 points · 3 months ago
New plan year, entirely new criteria, and the denial that had been immovable in the autumn simply did not apply in January.
comment on why does nobody talk about beginner in c/newbiequestions · 7 points · 3 months ago
Concentration is mass over volume, and a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Those two facts are the whole of the arithmetic this board keeps explaining.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about what is in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 4 months ago
Asked what a COA was in my first week. Somebody linked the explainer and I have been reading them ever since.
comment on help me understand retatrutide, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 2 points · 4 months ago
Push back: quoting the phase 2 headline as an expected outcome is not a fair reading of a small trial with wide intervals.
comment on phase 2 — 18 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/retatrutide · 89 points · 5 months ago
the glucagon component is why the metabolic story reads differently
comment on help me understand triple agonist, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 0 points · 5 months ago
Are you comparing against phase 3 numbers for something else? They are not comparable.
comment on [Discussion] external review is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/insurancefights · 145 points · 6 months ago
Step therapy requires documented trial of preferred alternatives. It is not an argument to be won on merits; it is a record to be produced, and the record is what the appeal must contain.
comment on the external review thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/insurancefights · 215 points · 8 months ago
Disagree with the tone strategy. Anger has never moved a determination; matching the criterion has.
comment on why does nobody talk about denial in c/insurancefights · 64 points · 9 months ago
I would not skip the peer-to-peer. It is often the fastest route and it costs a phone call.
comment on the lane question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/intlshipping · 4 points · 9 months ago
a quoted lead time you can hold them to is worth more than a fast one you cannot
comment on my A1c moved and I cannot work out whether TRIUMPH is why in c/retatrutide · 7 points · 9 months ago
research-use-only material is not approved for human use, full stop
comment on my ALT moved and I cannot work out whether beginner is why in c/newbiequestions · 45 points · 10 months ago
Gently disagree with the framing — nothing has gone wrong. Week 22 looking flat is the ordinary experience.
comment on is it normal to get sulphur burps at week 87 in c/retatrutide · 52 points · 10 months ago
heart rate is the thing people report watching
comment on [Question] beginner — what am I missing here in c/newbiequestions · 135 points · 11 months ago
Did you write the concentration on the vial?
comment on [Vendor] SGN order #6 — Ireland, 21 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/intlshipping · 683 points · 1 year ago
Four observations is not a distribution.
Adding the field everyone forgets — the month. Without it the report is not comparable to anything.
comment on the DHL thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/intlshipping · 5 points · 1 year ago
Push back: comparing a July transit with a February one on the same lane is not a comparison.
comment on [Results] 4 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/retatrutide · -20 points · 1 year ago
Phase 2 estimates effect and finds a dose range. Phase 3 estimates it precisely in a bigger population and catches what phase 2 was too small to see. Treating them as the same tier of evidence is the recurring error here.
comment on [Question] normal — what am I missing here in c/newbiequestions · 2 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning the wiki point, and also: ask anyway. The wiki cannot tell you it understood your question.
comment on [Meta] the shipping rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 343 points · 1 year ago
the lane is the unit of analysis, not the supplier
comment on dose escalation — my 16-week log, condensed into one table in c/retatrutide · 31 points · 1 year ago
Careful with the rankings. A phase 2 result and a phase 3 result are not on the same evidential footing and cannot be listed in one table.
comment on why does nobody talk about copay in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 1 year ago
the denial letter names the criterion, start there
comment on [Question] appeal — what am I missing here in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 1 year ago
Correcting myself upthread: the deadline was 2 days, not the figure I gave.
