comment on [Vendor] WXT order #4 — 8 days Wuxi to UK, cold pack still solid in c/vendorvetting · 27 points · 7 days ago
I would separate documentation from logistics. A supplier can be excellent at one and ordinary at the other, and averaging them hides it.
comment on [Lane Report] Wuxi → Germany, 8 days, best packaging i have seen in c/intlshipping · 0 points · 9 days ago
Same. TFC quoted 4 days on my lane and it landed at 12, which is exactly what you want from a quote.
comment on [Question] how long were you on before you tapered in c/tapering · -1 points · 17 days ago
the habits are what has to carry it afterwards
comment on why do vendor accounts always have the same three typos in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 25 days ago
Correction: that supplier is in the documented twenty with a source page, not in the wider-market table. Different evidence bases entirely.
comment on how much of what we believe about interval stretching actually comes from tapering threads in c/tapering · 96 points · 1 months ago
There is very little published guidance on stopping specifically, which is exactly why board consensus here should carry less weight than usual and a clinician conversation should carry more.
comment on [Vendor] MKM — five tests, four compounds, nothing outside the band in c/vendorvetting · 7 points · 1 months ago
the source page log is more useful than the score above it
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about hazard ratio is guesswork in c/trialwatch · 15 points · 2 months ago
Compared myself to a trial mean for about six months before realising the trial arm had dietitian contact every fortnight.
comment on [Meta] the vendor rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/vendorvetting · 131 points · 2 months ago
the wider-market names in the table are there because nobody has enough data on them
comment on help me understand packaging, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 88 points · 3 months ago
Disagree. That is a customs hold, not a carrier delay, and lumping them together makes the lane table wrong.
comment on stalled for 11 weeks at 15mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/tapering · 59 points · 3 months ago
regain is the expected outcome and framing it as failure helps nobody
comment on reading reship threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 3 months ago
a lane with four reports is not yet a lane
comment on regain — my 2-week log, condensed into one table in c/tapering · 1 points · 3 months ago
stopping is a plan, not an event
comment on SELECT: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/trialwatch · 36 points · 3 months ago
That is the 68-week readout, not the 72-week one. Different trial, different duration.
comment on [Discussion] the DHL advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/intlshipping · 51 points · 4 months ago
Same lane in a different season for comparison?
comment on how much of what we believe about transit time actually comes from reship threads in c/intlshipping · 52 points · 4 months ago
Packaging is assessable on arrival with no equipment: rigid outer, no movement inside, the cold element sized to the transit rather than to the box.
comment on the testing thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/vendorvetting · 679 points · 4 months ago
What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substances rather than a total, and the storage condition the stability statement was written against.
comment on how much of what we believe about endpoint actually comes from TRIUMPH threads in c/trialwatch · 70 points · 4 months ago
Compared myself to a trial mean for about six months before realising the trial arm had dietitian contact every fortnight.
comment on how much of what we believe about endpoint actually comes from TRIUMPH threads in c/trialwatch · 49 points · 4 months ago
Started keeping the trial identifiers straight in a note file because I kept mixing up two programmes in the same sentence.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for VendorInvestigate posts in c/vendorvetting · 61 points · 5 months ago
Lead time and minimum quantity are the two facts people forget to ask for and then argue about later. Both are answerable in one email before you commit.
comment on [Discussion] vendor is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/vendorvetting · 16 points · 5 months ago
Agreed on buying small first. The cost of a test is small next to the cost of committing to a supplier you have not checked.
comment on week 59 check-in — 30kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/tapering · 71 points · 6 months ago
stopping is a plan, not an event
comment on someone explain FLOW to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/trialwatch · 22 points · 6 months ago
SELECT was cardiovascular outcomes, not weight
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about PeptideMeter until somebody posts a number in c/vendorvetting · 111 points · 6 months ago
Independent testing is worth more than a supplied certificate for one structural reason: the chain of custody. A member who buys, ships and pays is testing the same thing you would receive.
comment on SURPASS — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/trialwatch · 41 points · 7 months ago
What did the confidence interval look like?
comment on [Discussion] the lane advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/intlshipping · 186 points · 7 months ago
Origin, destination, carrier and month?
comment on stalled for 12 weeks at 1.0mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/tapering · 16 points · 8 months ago
Withdrawal studies across this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation, with appetite typically returning before weight changes. That is a description of the pharmacology of a chronic condition.
comment on [Meta] the FLOW rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/trialwatch · 21 points · 9 months ago
A confidence interval is the range of effects compatible with the data. Two trials with overlapping intervals have not disagreed, whatever their point estimates look like next to each other.
comment on testing is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/vendorvetting · 55 points · 9 months ago
Eternal Peptides came up in three threads the week I was ordering and I could not find a single independent result for them anywhere. Went with a documented supplier instead.
comment on does SELECT actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/trialwatch · 314 points · 10 months ago
Left up and flaired Trial Data.
Disagreeing with this line: that is a relative reduction and the absolute numbers are considerably less dramatic.
comment on genuine question about shipping that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/intlshipping · 176 points · 10 months ago
Same. GGPeps quoted 13 days on my lane and it landed at 3, which is exactly what you want from a quote.
comment on help me understand tapering, I have read the wiki twice in c/tapering · 60 points · 10 months ago
interval stretching is the most commonly described approach here
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about carrier is guesswork in c/intlshipping · 95 points · 11 months ago
Where did the time actually go — international leg, clearance, or last mile?
comment on reading discontinuation threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tapering · 73 points · 12 months ago
interval stretching is the most commonly described approach here
comment on [Discussion] the endpoint advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/trialwatch · 15 points · 12 months ago
open-label extensions are not the same evidence as the randomised phase
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about TRIUMPH until somebody posts a number in c/trialwatch · 21 points · 1 year ago
Correction: SURMOUNT is the obesity programme and SURPASS is the diabetes one. The figure you quoted belongs to the other one.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify order records in c/vendorvetting · 1 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that supplier is in the documented twenty with a source page, not in the wider-market table. Different evidence bases entirely.
comment on how much of what we believe about appetite return actually comes from regain threads in c/tapering · 59 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — you have described interval stretching and called it a taper. The exposure profiles differ.
comment on [Meta] the shipping rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 20 points · 1 year ago
summer and winter are different lanes with the same name
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring VendorInvestigate at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/vendorvetting · 16 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning on lot matching. It sounds trivial and it predicts almost everything else about how an operation is run.
comment on how much of what we believe about Janoshik actually comes from reship threads in c/vendorvetting · -5 points · 1 year ago
reship policy in writing before the order, not after
