[Results] 90 weeks, full dose-and-weight table, ask me anything

Results

90 weeks, full dose-and-weight table, ask me anything, and the part I actually want to talk about is at the bottom.

Numbers, in the order they matter: 90 weeks.

Nothing on this board is medical advice, and rate, target and method are questions for somebody who knows your history.

Text-only posting removes the comparison mechanism that makes image boards difficult, which is why this community adopted the rule and has kept it.

Would rather be corrected in public than confident in private.

Body weight varies by a couple of kilos day to day through fluid, glycogen and gut content, which is why a single weigh-in is noise and a fortnightly trend is signal.

Agreed — text only was the best rule this board ever adopted. The posts are about what actually changed rather than about lighting.

zofia_lindholm is right that the clothes tell you before the scale does.

Cosigning on timeframe. "7kg" means something completely different over 15 months than over one.

What timeframe is that over?

non-scale victories count and they are the ones people remember

progress is not linear and nobody’s is

Yes. Clothes fitting differently arrives well before the scale acknowledges anything.

Push back on the goal number. You chose it before you knew what any of this felt like.

Correction: 15kg over 11 months is a different claim from 15kg in a month, and the post reads as the second.

Rate of change is not a virtue. Slower trajectories are as durable as fast ones and are considerably better represented on this board than the front page suggests.

Yes. The middle is where everybody actually lives and almost nobody posts from it.

About c/progresspics

Progress posts with no images, by design. Starting point, current point, timeframe, dose history, what changed besides the scale. Text-only removes the comparison trap, the body-shaming pile-on and the entire question of who owns a photo of your torso.
