comment on someone explain dual agonist to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tirzepatide · 21 points · 1 year ago
stepping every four weeks is a ceiling on speed, not a schedule you must hit
comment on how much of what we believe about Mounjaro actually comes from SURMOUNT threads in c/tirzepatide · 8 points · 1 year ago
25kg over 79 weeks, never went past 10mg, and sulphur burps stayed mild the whole way.
Not sure about this bit. The GIP arm being real does not tell you that it is what caused your particular week.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify Zepbound in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago
It is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and the GIP arm is the part that has no equivalent in the semaglutide threads. That is why the side-effect profile reads differently rather than just milder.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify Zepbound in c/tirzepatide · 6 points · 1 year ago
Push back: "gentler than sema" is a population statement. Plenty of people on this board have the opposite experience and they are not doing it wrong.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring data logger at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/coldchain · 7 points · 1 year ago
Agreed. The dry powder is the robust state; it is the solution that needs the care.
comment on [Question] CGM — what am I missing here in c/t2dglp1 · 67 points · 1 year ago
Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.
comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on network in c/cryptopay · 14 points · 1 year ago
Pasted rather than typed the address, then checked the first and last six characters. Habit now.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify packaging in c/coldchain · 82 points · 1 year ago
Lyophilisation removes the water that drives most degradation pathways. That is why the dry cake is comparatively robust and the reconstituted solution is not.
comment on [Meta] the GIP rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/tirzepatide · 2.2k points · 1 year ago
The distribution matters more than the mean. In the trial population the interquartile spread was wide enough that two honest people can have completely different runs on the same arm.
comment on how much of what we believe about gas fees actually comes from USDC threads in c/cryptopay · 0 points · 1 year ago
Network fees are set by chain congestion at the time of sending. They are paid to the network, not to the recipient, and they vary by hour as well as by chain.
comment on how much of what we believe about gas fees actually comes from USDC threads in c/cryptopay · -22 points · 1 year ago
A token symbol identifies an asset, not a network. The same symbol commonly exists on several chains with incompatible address formats, and sending across that boundary is generally unrecoverable.
comment on [Results] 64 weeks, 15kg, and waist was the hard part in c/dosinglogs · 19 points · 1 year ago
A log is only interpretable if the conditions are consistent.
Adding the column everyone adds late — sleep. Start with it.
comment on [Question] is 93.7% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/tirzepatide · 6 points · 1 year ago
Weekly dosing again, half-life in the same neighbourhood as sema, so a step change takes about a month to reach steady state.
fatima_wojcik is right that the two molecules are not interchangeable. There is no published conversion and the ones circulating are invented.
comment on [Vendor] FGP order #12 — Germany, 4 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/cryptopay · 38 points · 1 year ago
screenshot the transaction hash, not the wallet balance
comment on [Meta] the Apotheke rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1eu · 26 points · 1 year ago
pharmacy margins are regulated differently in each country
bilal_adebayo is right about cross-border recognition being narrower than the summaries suggest.
comment on [Vendor] FGP order #12 — Germany, 4 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/cryptopay · 1 points · 1 year ago
Yes — gas is the network’s, not the supplier’s, and conflating them produces a lot of unfair complaints.
comment on the NHS thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1uk · 1 points · 1 year ago
NHS pathway or private prescription?
comment on jurisdiction — 14 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/customs · 0 points · 1 year ago
Push back: personal import allowances are narrow and specific, and the general version of them circulating here is wrong.
comment on [Results] 66 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/tirzepatide · 25 points · 1 year ago
Came off sema and onto tirz with a two-week gap.
Saving this one. It is the clearest statement of the stall problem I have read here.
comment on personal import — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/customs · 82 points · 1 year ago
Where a supplier holds regional stock, the shipment is domestic and there is no import event at all. That is the structural fix rather than a workaround.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about excursion until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 523 points · 1 year ago
You cannot infer potency from a temperature record. The record tells you what happened to the box; only a test tells you what happened to the material.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about T2D is guesswork in c/t2dglp1 · 41 points · 1 year ago
Push back: one sensor reading is not a data point worth acting on, especially in the first day of wear.
comment on how much of what we believe about dual agonist actually comes from GIP threads in c/tirzepatide · 16 points · 1 year ago
Did you come to this from sema, and if so how long was the gap?
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for UK posts in c/glp1uk · -14 points · 1 year ago
private and NHS pathways are not a ladder, they are separate routes
comment on help me understand 15mg, I have read the wiki twice in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago
if 7.5 is working, 10 is not automatically better
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about GIP until somebody posts a number in c/tirzepatide · 58 points · 1 year ago
2.5 is the starter dose and it is not meant to be the dose that works
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for seizure posts in c/customs · 32 points · 1 year ago
personal import rules are not the same as commercial import rules
comment on what changed for me between month 6 and month 14 in c/tirzepatide · 27 points · 1 year ago
the four-week step schedule is the label, not folklore
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for seizure posts in c/customs · 14 points · 1 year ago
Research-use-only labelling is a description of intended use, not a customs classification. It does not by itself determine how anything is treated at a border.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for seizure posts in c/customs · 0 points · 1 year ago
Why regional stock keeps coming up in every thread on this board.
Disagreeing with this line: that is the position in a different country and it does not transfer.
comment on [Discussion] the packaging advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/coldchain · 17 points · 1 year ago
Once in solution, the relevant risks are hydrolysis, aggregation and, for some sequences, oxidation. Refrigeration slows all three; freezing a solution introduces a separate risk at the ice interface.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about MHRA until somebody posts a number in c/glp1uk · 21 points · 1 year ago
Yes — four nations, four pathways, and threads that ignore that give people the wrong answer confidently.
comment on three years of excursion threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/coldchain · 46 points · 1 year ago
Gel packs are designed for a duty cycle. A liquid pack at the end of a longer-than-expected transit is a pack behaving as specified, not evidence of an excursion in the vial.
comment on genuine question about UK that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1uk · 10 points · 1 year ago
Which pharmacy, and what did they quote for the month rather than the first month?
comment on genuine question about UK that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1uk · 64 points · 1 year ago
How long have you been on the list, and from what date?
comment on small win: dual agonist stopped being a problem at week 50 in c/tirzepatide · 45 points · 1 year ago
Not sure that follows. You went up a step and changed your training in the same fortnight.
comment on [Discussion] lyophilised is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/coldchain · 92 points · 1 year ago
You cannot infer potency from a temperature record. The record tells you what happened to the box; only a test tells you what happened to the material.
comment on [Vendor] WWB order #16 — Sweden, 21 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/customs · 1 points · 1 year ago
What documentation accompanied the shipment?
comment on cold chain — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/coldchain · 71 points · 1 year ago
Moved everything off the fridge door after reading a thread here and my temperature log immediately got boring.
comment on [Meta] the SURPASS rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 2 years ago
6kg over 21 weeks, never went past 10mg, and fatigue stayed mild the whole way.
hub_ops is right that the two molecules are not interchangeable. There is no published conversion and the ones circulating are invented.
