comment on [Sceptic] every new three-letter analog needs a data table before a hype thread in c/researchpeptides · 1 points · 1 days ago

the sequence is the product, everything else is packaging

permalink

comment on [Pricing] compounded tirz pricing in my state, six months of receipts in c/compounding · 1 points · 2 days ago

Yes. The shortage list is the legal hinge for the whole arrangement and its status is public.

permalink

comment on mg ÷ mL, that is the whole formula, why did i find this hard in c/reconstitution · 23 points · 2 days ago

Careful — that arithmetic is wrong. 10mg in 3mL is 3.33mg/mL, so 0.5mg draws to 15 units, not what you wrote.

comment on [Explainer] evidence levels: in vitro, rodent, human. say which one you mean. in c/researchpeptides · 17 points · 6 days ago

Asked for identity confirmation on an unusual line and got a mass spectrum with the theoretical mass alongside. That is the answer I now look for everywhere.

permalink

comment on [Regulatory] state board actions worth reading if you use a compounder in c/compounding · -6 points · 7 days ago

What did the intake actually ask you?

permalink

comment on [Math] someone check my arithmetic before i draw this up in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 8 days ago

That is sterile water, not bacteriostatic. Same appearance, different product, and it matters for a multi-draw vial.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the Ontario answer is not the Alberta answer in c/glp1canada · 0 points · 8 days ago

Push back: approval by the national regulator says nothing about whether any plan will pay.

permalink

comment on my compounded vial arrived at a different concentration than last month in c/compounding · 3 points · 9 days ago

Small fix — 503B facilities register with the regulator; 503A pharmacies are licensed by the state board. Different mechanisms.

units are a volume on a U-100 syringe, not a dose

permalink

comment on three years of special authorization threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1canada · 8 points · 15 days ago

Kept every form and reference number. When they had no record of a submission, I did.

permalink

comment on reconstituted at 1mL instead of 2mL and caught it before injecting. lucky. in c/reconstitution · 17 points · 16 days ago

Not quite. Bacteriostatic and sterile water are not interchangeable for a multi-draw vial, and the difference is the preservative.

comment on [Discussion] the thymosin advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/researchpeptides · 49 points · 24 days ago

Identity confirmed, or purity only?

permalink

comment on [Results] 37 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/t2dglp1 · 5 points · 1 months ago

the fasting number is the one people fixate on and it moves last

permalink

comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 2 points · 1 months ago

text only here, by community rule, and it works better than you would think

permalink

comment on the hypoglycaemia question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/t2dglp1 · 67 points · 1 months ago

a single high reading is not a trend

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about telehealth in c/compounding · 3 points · 1 months ago

Correction: patient-specific refers to the prescription, not to a bespoke formulation. Common misreading and it changes the argument.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about telehealth in c/compounding · 2 points · 1 months ago

That figure is the starting material purity, not the finished preparation potency. Two different tests.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about telehealth in c/compounding · 8 points · 1 months ago

the API source is the question nobody asks and everybody should

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about Canada in c/glp1canada · 1 points · 1 months ago

the same product can be covered in one province and not the next

permalink

comment on [Meta] the units rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 2 months ago

Agreed on the swirl.

Right, and the arithmetic behind it: 15mg in 3mL is 5mg/mL, so 0.5mg is 10 units.

comment on someone explain thymosin to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/researchpeptides · 5 points · 2 months ago

ask which lines are actually stocked rather than made to order

permalink

comment on reading TB-500 threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/researchpeptides · 22 points · 2 months ago

What lead time were you quoted for that line?

Disagreeing with this bit: handling for one compound does not transfer to another by default.

comment on switched from 12.5mg to 15mg and reflux got better, not worse in c/newbiequestions · 232 points · 2 months ago

A certificate of analysis is a document describing one batch: what was tested, by what method, and what the result was. Its value depends entirely on whether it names the batch and the method.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about chargeback is guesswork in c/cryptopay · 6 points · 2 months ago

Agreed. Network first, address second, amount third, and in that order every time.

permalink

comment on state board — 3 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/compounding · 7 points · 2 months ago

The shortage list is the legal hinge: the permissions that allow certain compounding to happen at scale are tied to a drug’s shortage status, which changes.

permalink

comment on [PSA] timeframe is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/progresspics · 8 points · 2 months ago

Did the clothes change before the number did for you too?

permalink

comment on someone explain metformin to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/t2dglp1 · 2 points · 3 months ago

Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for thymosin posts in c/researchpeptides · 34 points · 3 months ago

Has anyone here tested that compound at all?

permalink

comment on [PSA] milestone is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/progresspics · 26 points · 3 months ago

I would not treat a two-kilo range as a regain. Weight varies day to day in everybody.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about glycaemic control is guesswork in c/t2dglp1 · 69 points · 3 months ago

Agreed on variability. Two people with the same average can have completely different days.

permalink

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about what is in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 4 months ago

I confused two very similar words on my first order and asked here, expecting to be mocked. Three people explained it properly instead.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring confirmations at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/cryptopay · 22 points · 4 months ago

send a test amount first if the total is large

permalink

comment on Canada: API source, and what it actually costs here in c/compounding · 28 points · 4 months ago

Not convinced. You are comparing a compounded concentration with a branded one and assuming they match.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] state board is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/compounding · 218 points · 4 months ago

Same view. If the intake asked you nothing, the intake was a formality and you should factor that in.

permalink

comment on do research peptides actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/researchpeptides · 36 points · 4 months ago

I would not treat catalogue breadth as a quality signal. It is a business decision, not an analytical one.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the province advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/glp1canada · 20 points · 5 months ago

Agreed on keeping every form and date. When something goes wrong the paper trail is the whole case.

permalink

dead space in the needle hub is real and it is small

permalink

comment on [PSA] struggle is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/progresspics · 1 points · 6 months ago

A goal weight chosen before starting is a prediction made with the least information you will ever have. Revising it is ordinary rather than a failure.

permalink

comment on someone explain Canada to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1canada · 1 points · 6 months ago

compare cash prices before assuming coverage is the only path

permalink

comment on Sweden: state board, and what it actually costs here in c/compounding · 1 points · 6 months ago
