I would not round that figure. At 5mg/mL a rounding error of two units is a real fraction of the intended amount.

the ladder exists because jumping straight to a "real" dose is how you end up in the bathroom for three days. slow is the whole point, not a delay before the point.

speaking as someone who's very publicly pro-microdosing: I think part of it is also that the standard step sizes genuinely are rough for a meaningful chunk of people, and splitting/microdosing is the only lever available without a formal smaller-increment product existing. People reach for what's available.

this is basically my whole account's reason for existing. 0.125 increments changed my nausea situation completely compared to the standard steps. following this log closely. edit: meant 0.125 increments, originally typo'd 0.25 which would defeat the entire point.

piotr_bruun has the units point exactly right. They are a volume on the barrel and nothing else.

completely normal. 0.25 is a priming dose for a huge chunk of people, not a weight-loss dose. two weeks of nothing is the most common report on this exact question.

And the mirror of this: I went 0.125 increments and took nine months to reach a dose other people reached in five. Same place, less vomiting, and I never had a week I could not work.

The people who go slowly do not post as much because "nothing dramatic happened" is not a thread.

Interval stretching lowers the trough concentration while keeping the dose; dose reduction lowers the level while keeping the rhythm. They are different interventions with different subjective profiles.

With a week-long half-life, exposure declines over several weeks after the last dose rather than stopping with it. The lag is why the first fortnight is uninformative.

Spent 20 weeks confused about this until somebody drew the table for me. 5mg, 3mL, 1.67mg/mL, 1.5mg is 90 units. That is the whole thing.

Wrote the concentration into the log as well as on the vial. Have referred back to it more than once.

Stopped for cost reasons. Appetite came back at about week 20, well before the scale moved, exactly as this board said it would.

Disagree with the "more water is safer" framing. It is not safer, it is just a different number to divide by.

Almost none of them involve a documented supplier with an independent testing record. They involve an unfamiliar shop, a price that seemed good, a decision made in a hurry, and no small first order.

The procedural fix is the one this site keeps repeating: buy small from anybody new, ask for a batch-specific document before paying, test what arrives, and only then commit. It is boring, it costs a small order, and it would have prevented most of what is written on this board. Where a name has nothing verifiable on file, that is a statement about the evidence available rather than about anyone’s conduct — and keeping that distinction is why these reports stay useful.

Aim the stream down the wall of the vial rather than into the cake. Reconstitution is a solubility problem, not a mixing problem, and mechanical shear does nothing helpful.

Why contemporaneous beats reconstructed, with the failure mode.

Memory smooths. Reconstructing a fortnight from recollection produces a series that is more regular, more consistent with your current beliefs, and quietly wrong in a direction that flatters the story you are already telling.

I found this out by reconstructing six weeks and later finding order receipts that contradicted my own entries. The log was not a little wrong; it was wrong in exactly the direction that made my narrative work. Write it down on the day, even the boring days, especially the boring days.

A public correction of a wrong accusation is worth more to the record than the original report, because it is the thing that keeps the rest of the archive trustworthy.

burned_once_twice is right that it was procedural. The procedure was not written down anywhere for you to follow.

Reconstituted at 3mL when I meant to use a different volume. Caught it because the units looked wrong on the barrel. Now I write 1.67mg/mL on the glass before I put the cap back.
