and iron specifically is hard to hit on a small appetite because the best sources are dense and unappealing when you are full after four bites.

1.6g/kg minimum, front-loaded at breakfast, and the front-loading is the part people skip. When your appetite disappears by 3pm, anything you planned to eat in the evening does not happen.

Telogen effluvium after a significant metabolic shift is a well-described phenomenon and it is not specific to these drugs — rapid loss by any route does it. It is also self-limiting, which is the bit nobody in month 5 believes.

The diabetes and obesity programmes are separate, with different populations and different primary endpoints. Reading a result across from one to the other is not a comparison.

comment on the scale "stalled" for two months but my DEXA says otherwise, recomp is a stall in disguise in c/glp1muscle · 74 points · 2 days ago

1.6g/kg minimum is doing a lot of the work here I'd bet, recomp like this basically doesn't happen on a deficit without adequate protein regardless of training

comment on [Discussion] resistance training changes what "stall" should even mean on the scale in c/glp1muscle · 71 points · 3 days ago

protein target scales with the training too, obviously, 1.6g/kg is closer to a floor than a ceiling once you're actually lifting seriously through a deficit.

comment on six weeks flat at my top dose, is going up even an option at this point or just a bad idea in c/maintenancephase · 54 points · 3 days ago

first thing I'd actually check: protein intake. a lot of people's appetite drops so much at higher doses that protein target quietly slips even while calories look "fine", and that alone can flatten a cut. worked example: at 78kg, 1.6g/kg works out to 78 × 1.6 = 124.8g protein a day. most people who "think" they're eating enough are actually closer to 70-80g once they count it properly. edit: fixed my own arithmetic, first typed 128g instead of 124.8g.

What is and is not the supplier’s fault, since this board generates unfair complaints.

Not theirs: the network fee, chain congestion, confirmation time, the rate moving between quote and send, and a payment sent on the wrong chain. Theirs: which networks they accept, how quickly they credit a confirmed payment, and whether the address they gave you was correct and communicated clearly.

Keeping those columns separate makes the reports here far more useful. A thread titled "supplier took my payment" that turns out to describe forty minutes of unconfirmed transaction helps nobody and follows people around for years.

this exact pattern comes up so often it's almost formulaic at this point: dose is fine, protein and sleep quietly slip, scale flattens, person assumes dose problem. Glad you checked before messaging.

Agreed on the error margin. Quoting a DEXA to one decimal implies a precision the method does not have.

Right, and the group-buy structure is the underrated risk here. One person holds everything and there is no recourse designed in.

Packaging is assessable on arrival with no equipment: rigid outer, no movement inside, the cold element sized to the transit rather than to the box.

Total transit decomposes into first mile, international leg, clearance and last mile.

This is why the lane table is organised the way it is. The supplier is not the unit.
