does regain actually matter or is it forum lore at this point. Searched first, found three threads that contradict each other, hence the post. The habits from the…

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 10 points · 4 months ago
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, not a personal failure
comment on [Results] 26 weeks, 9kg, and dual agonist was the hard part in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 4 months ago
2.5 is the starter dose and it is not meant to be the dose that works
comment on the dose stretching thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 138 points · 4 months ago
Careful — a dose reduction plan is a conversation with someone who knows your history, not a board consensus.
comment on [Results] 94 weeks on 1.0mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/bpc157 · 5 points · 5 months ago
Short peptides in solution are subject to hydrolysis and, depending on sequence, oxidation.
Agreed — and the preclinical to clinical gap is where nearly all the overclaiming happens.
comment on why does nobody talk about lost money in c/darkspot · 45 points · 5 months ago
That reads as a warning about a documented supplier and the events you describe are about a shop nobody has any record of.
comment on regulatory is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/bpc157 · 0 points · 6 months ago
Correction: that study was in rodents. Worth stating explicitly since the thread has been reading it as clinical.
comment on tried week one for 18 weeks. here is what happened. in c/newbiequestions · 3 points · 6 months ago
Nothing on this board is medical advice, and the people answering you — including me — are members with spreadsheets rather than clinicians.
comment on small win: goal weight stopped being a problem at week 19 in c/maintenancephase · 199 points · 6 months ago
the lowest effective dose is a real target and nobody talks about it
comment on the chargeback question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/cryptopay · 255 points · 7 months ago
Nearly sent on the wrong network. The token symbol was identical and the address format was the only clue.
comment on [PSA] stopped is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/darkspot · 34 points · 7 months ago
Contemporaneous notes matter most in exactly the situations where people are least inclined to write them. Memory reorganises a bad fortnight into a tidier story with a clearer villain.
comment on switched from 5mg to 15mg and constipation got better, not worse in c/tirzepatide · 76 points · 8 months ago
Careful with "everyone tolerates it better". The people it did not suit stop posting, which makes this board look calmer than the drug is.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 8 months ago
I would not treat a two-kilo range as drift requiring action. That is ordinary weight variation.
comment on [Results] 25 weeks, 12kg, and contraception was the hard part in c/glp1women · 51 points · 9 months ago
Brought the cycle-annotated log to an appointment and it changed the conversation completely.
comment on does regain actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/maintenancephase · 4 points · 9 months ago
Has appetite changed, or only the scale?
comment on does regain actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/maintenancephase · 26 points · 9 months ago
That is a range, not a trend. Two weigh-ins 22 days apart cannot distinguish them.
comment on the CGM question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/t2dglp1 · 7 points · 9 months ago
sensor accuracy varies and the first day of a sensor is the worst
comment on the CGM question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/t2dglp1 · 37 points · 9 months ago
A1c, CGM, or fingersticks — which are we discussing?
comment on three years of regain threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/maintenancephase · 29 points · 9 months ago
Yes. The habits have to outlive the dose or the maintenance phase is just a countdown.
comment on does what is actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/newbiequestions · -12 points · 9 months ago
the first month is a tolerance check, not a results phase
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about what went wrong in c/darkspot · 3 points · 10 months ago
Right, and stopping for money reasons is not a failure of anything. It is a budget.
comment on 3 months in and regulatory is still the thing I get wrong in c/bpc157 · 10 points · 10 months ago
Sent a vial to Medutest: 97.6% against a claimed 97.5%, with the mass confirming the sequence. Both halves mattered to me.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about what went wrong in c/darkspot · 8 points · 10 months ago
Yes. Buy small first. It is the cheapest lesson on the site and it keeps being learned the expensive way.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about contraception in c/glp1women · 13 points · 10 months ago
Agreed that the vocabulary here is imprecise and it causes people to answer different questions to the ones asked.
comment on why does nobody talk about regret in c/darkspot · 1 points · 10 months ago
Fridge died in a heatwave and I lost three months of material. There was no clever lesson; I just had not thought about it.
comment on the failure question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/darkspot · 30 points · 11 months ago
Most of what gets posted here is procedural rather than dramatic: a step skipped, a document not requested, a temperature not considered, a pace chosen out of impatience.
comment on someone explain fertility to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1women · 78 points · 11 months ago
That trial did not enrol the population you are asking about, so it cannot answer this.
comment on someone explain fertility to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1women · 35 points · 11 months ago
nothing on this board is a substitute for someone who knows your history
comment on SURMOUNT: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/tirzepatide · 0 points · 11 months ago
Are you comparing yourself with the trial mean or with the people who post the most?
Saving this one. It is the clearest statement of the stall problem I have read here.
comment on [Question] Canada — has anyone got a straight answer on escrow in c/cryptopay · 1 points · 11 months ago
nobody legitimate needs the payment in the next ten minutes
comment on someone explain dual agonist to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tirzepatide · 469 points · 1 year ago
Vials and pens carry the same molecule; what differs is fill volume, device tolerance and whether you are doing your own arithmetic. Neither is inherently more accurate.
comment on [Question] long term — what am I missing here in c/maintenancephase · 41 points · 1 year ago
Has appetite changed, or only the scale?
comment on [Question] normal — what am I missing here in c/newbiequestions · 3 points · 1 year ago
Week 4 for me was completely flat and I was convinced something was wrong.
Adding the one habit worth starting today: write the concentration on the vial.
comment on [Question] CGM — what am I missing here in c/t2dglp1 · 7 points · 1 year ago
Is that a first-day sensor reading?
comment on [Question] CGM — what am I missing here in c/t2dglp1 · 15 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — insulin secretion in this class is glucose-dependent, which is precisely why the risk you describe comes from the other agent.
comment on [Question] CGM — what am I missing here in c/t2dglp1 · 6 points · 1 year ago
the fasting number is the one people fixate on and it moves last
CGM — what am I missing here. I would rather ask a basic question now than get this wrong quietly for two months. Kept fingersticks alongside the sensor for two weeks…
comment on switched from 5mg to 12.5mg and food noise got better, not worse in c/maintenancephase · 21 points · 1 year ago
Wrote down what maintenance would look like at about week 55, before I needed it. Having decided in advance made the transition boring.
comment on what changed for me between month 11 and month 20 in c/t2dglp1 · 293 points · 1 year ago
A1c, CGM, or fingersticks — which are we discussing?
comment on reading 15mg threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tirzepatide · 34 points · 1 year ago
13kg over 28 weeks, never went past 10mg, and early fullness stayed mild the whole way. Posting because the loud threads are all 15mg.
