comment on the lean mass thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1muscle · 14 points · 1 year ago

Small fix — that is fat-free mass, not muscle mass. The scan cannot separate them the way the post assumes.

That protein figure is grams per day, not grams per kilogram. Different claim entirely.

Brought the whole CGM export to my appointment rather than one number. Entirely different conversation.

Group buys concentrate custody, payment and communication in one person with no structure behind it. That is not an accusation about anyone — it is a description of the risk shape.

Agreed that thin testing here says something about the members, not about the material.

This is the rule for anything unusual. Identity before anything else.

The fatigue turned out to be that I was eating about a third of what I thought I was. Tracked it for a week and the mystery evaporated.

Yes — describe the sequence of events with dates. That is a report. Adjectives are not.

The directory deliberately separates "we have nothing on this name" from "this went badly".

Disagreeing here: that is a delay, and this board has to keep delay and intent in separate columns.

Retitled — the original quoted an obesity endpoint as a glycaemic one.

a1c_arc is right that the fasting number moves last. Knowing that in advance saves months of worry.

Correction: that trial is the diabetes programme and the figure you quoted is its glycaemic endpoint, not a weight result.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring research peptides at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/researchpeptides · 27 points · 1 year ago

Confirmed the lead time in writing before ordering a made-to-order line. It was longer than the site suggested and entirely reasonable once explained.

Correcting my own comment: the storage condition I quoted was for the lyophilised powder, not for solution.

Small fix — that is net peptide content, not purity. Both are on the certificate and they differ substantially here.

comment on small win: sulphur burps stopped being a problem at week 55 in c/sideeffects · 6 points · 2 years ago

Nothing in this thread is medical advice, including this comment. I am describing a mechanism, not telling anybody what to do about their own week.

Nearly paid a cloned storefront. Caught it because one character in the domain was wrong and I paste rather than type.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about heart rate actually comes from reflux threads in c/sideeffects · 16 points · 2 years ago

Reflux was the one that got me.

Agreed, with the caveat that "usually settles" is not "always settles" and the exceptions should still get asked about properly.

That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.

A report is useful here when it carries dates, the exact domain, what was requested, what arrived and what did not. Everything else is atmosphere.
