comment on nausea day 2 post-injection like clockwork, week 14, does it ever stop in c/sideeffects · 125 points · 2 days ago

the fatigue that arrives at week 86 out of nowhere is usually something else

comment on same batch number showing up at two unrelated vendors. that is not a coincidence in c/vendorvetting · 4 points · 6 days ago

Did the lot code on the vial match the paperwork?

permalink

comment on how many independent tests before you trust a vendor. my number is three in c/vendorvetting · 11 points · 9 days ago

Where a supplier holds regional stock, ask which lines are actually held there rather than drop-shipped. It changes the lead time and it changes the customs question.

comment on [Side Effects] alcohol hits completely differently now and nobody mentioned it in c/sideeffects · 22 points · 10 days ago

That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.

Which service did the testing, and did you pay for it yourself?

consistency across lots beats one spectacular result

comment on my gallbladder came out at month 7 and i would still do it again in c/sideeffects · 12 points · 22 days ago

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

permalink

comment on [Results] 78 weeks on 7.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 133 points · 1 months ago

DEXA has a meaningful coefficient of variation, and it differs between machines and protocols. Comparing scans from different clinics adds a systematic offset that is invisible on the report.

comment on [Vendor] SGN is a real company with real catalogue chemistry and people still doubt it in c/vendorvetting · -12 points · 1 months ago

three independent results beat thirty forum posts

comment on group buy organiser vanished with 3.4k. here is the timeline in c/vendorvetting · 12 points · 1 months ago

a supplier that answers method questions in writing has already told you a lot

comment on the reflux question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 1 months ago

What is intake actually looking like — fibre and water especially?

permalink

comment on hair loss: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/sideeffects · 101 points · 2 months ago

Most of the common complaints trace back to slowed gastric emptying — early fullness, reflux, nausea after a large or fatty meal. That is also why meal size and speed change the experience more than anything else.

permalink

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about fatigue in c/sideeffects · 9 points · 2 months ago

Constipation is mostly reduced intake plus reduced fluid, not a direct effect.

Adding to this — holding the dose rather than stepping is the option people forget they have.

comment on [Lab] WWB tirz — Medutest came back 99.4% against a claimed 98.5% in c/vendorvetting · 85 points · 3 months ago

The wider-market rows in the directory carry a band and a report count and nothing else, deliberately. Anything more would be manufacturing precision that the evidence does not support.

permalink

comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether heart rate is why in c/sideeffects · 48 points · 3 months ago

the food noise going quiet is the effect people came for, and sulphur burps are the toll for the first fortnight

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify gallbladder in c/sideeffects · 104 points · 3 months ago

I would be careful here. "Everyone gets this" is not true, and it makes the people who get something unusual assume they are fine when they should be asking.

comment on help me understand sarcopenia, I have read the wiki twice in c/glp1muscle · 88 points · 4 months ago

strength retention is a decent proxy and it is free

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify resistance training in c/glp1muscle · 9 points · 4 months ago

DEXA has a real error margin and people quote it to one decimal

permalink

comment on the testing thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/vendorvetting · 545 points · 4 months ago

Careful. "Nobody has tested Risynth Bio" is a statement about this board, not about the supplier. Say the first thing, not the second.

comment on [Lab] split one vial across Janoshik and Medutest — 98.1% and 98.9% in c/vendorvetting · 22 points · 4 months ago

registration number, then everything else

permalink

comment on anyone else notice constipation kicking in around week 7 in c/sideeffects · 82 points · 4 months ago

Small fix — the shedding follows the rate of weight loss, not the compound, and it is temporary.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get reflux at week 5 in c/sideeffects · 67 points · 5 months ago

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

permalink

comment on 20 months in and FFMI is still the thing I get wrong in c/glp1muscle · 3 points · 5 months ago

the appetite effect makes eating enough protein a logistics problem

permalink

comment on [Meta] the gallbladder rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/sideeffects · 356 points · 6 months ago

Right, and the hair thing is worth repeating: it tracks the rate of loss rather than the compound, and it stops.

comment on genuine question about vendor that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 29 points · 7 months ago

reship policy in writing before the order, not after

permalink

comment on genuine question about PeptideMeter that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 24 points · 8 months ago

Agreed on buying small first. The cost of a test is small next to the cost of committing to a supplier you have not checked.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get reflux at week 68 in c/glp1muscle · 5 points · 9 months ago

FFMI is a ratio and it moves when either term moves

permalink

comment on genuine question about Medutest that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 88 points · 9 months ago

Fixing my own comment above: I said 19 orders and it is 36. The pattern is the same, the count was wrong.

Which lane, and what was the quoted lead time at checkout?

permalink

comment on [Meta] the PeptideMeter rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/vendorvetting · 114 points · 11 months ago

Small fix — the figure you quoted is the claimed purity from the certificate, and the independent result was the higher of the two.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring lean mass at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1muscle · 5 points · 11 months ago

nothing on this board is a training or nutrition prescription

permalink

comment on what changed for me between month 2 and month 9 in c/sideeffects · 6 points · 11 months ago

The fatigue turned out to be that I was eating about a third of what I thought I was. Tracked it for a week and the mystery evaporated.

permalink

comment on the testing question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/vendorvetting · 4 points · 1 year ago

Started buying small deliberately, tested every lot for the first four, then stopped testing every lot because there was nothing to find.

Agreed — and the corollary is that "no data" and "bad data" have to be written differently. The table separates them for exactly that reason.

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about Janoshik is guesswork in c/vendorvetting · 4 points · 1 year ago

the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the certificate, every time

permalink

the same DEXA machine or it is not a comparison

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about PeptideMeter is guesswork in c/vendorvetting · -22 points · 1 year ago

Asked ERP for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day. That is the bar now.

permalink

comment on stalled for 6 weeks at 15mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/sideeffects · 25 points · 1 year ago

Kept a one-line-a-day log for two months. The pattern was obvious on paper and invisible in my head.

permalink

comment on [PSA] Janoshik results are area% by default and people keep forgetting in c/vendorvetting · 240 points · 1 year ago

Careful. "Nobody has tested Peptidology" is a statement about this board, not about the supplier. Say the first thing, not the second.
