comment on [Explainer] lyophilised powder is far more forgiving than you think in c/coldchain · 3 points · 4 days ago
Gel packs are designed for a duty cycle. A liquid pack at the end of a longer-than-expected transit is a pack behaving as specified, not evidence of an excursion in the vial.

Powder or already in solution?
comment on [Explainer] lyophilised powder is far more forgiving than you think in c/coldchain · 1 points · 6 days ago
a logger costs less than a vial and answers the question permanently
comment on what is a COA and how do i know if it is real in c/newbiequestions · 5 points · 8 days ago
Wrote the concentration on the vial after reading it here. Have never once had to reconstruct it from memory since.
comment on [Lane Report] Wuxi → Germany, 8 days, best packaging i have seen in c/intlshipping · 7 points · 11 days ago
Not convinced by four data points. That is not a lane yet, it is an anecdote with a route attached.
comment on [Question] reconstituted vial left out for five hours — bin it or not in c/coldchain · 18 points · 14 days ago
write the reconstitution date on the vial
comment on how long until i should expect anything to change in c/newbiequestions · 19 points · 19 days ago
no question is too basic here, that is the entire point of the board
comment on what is the difference between compounded and the pen in c/newbiequestions · 11 points · 27 days ago
I confused two very similar words on my first order and asked here, expecting to be mocked.
This is the answer. Everything else in the thread is elaboration on it.
comment on [Results] 60 weeks on 1.0mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1women · -16 points · 1 months ago
Telogen shedding follows a period of significant weight change rather than a specific compound, and it resolves.
comment on [Results] two years, and the second year mattered more than the first in c/progresspics · 14 points · 1 months ago
A goal weight chosen before starting is a prediction made with the least information you will ever have. Revising it is ordinary rather than a failure.
comment on stalled for 2 weeks at 12.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/glp1women · 1 points · 1 months ago
PCOS and insulin resistance are the thread that runs through this board
comment on [Discussion] lane is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/intlshipping · 15 points · 1 months ago
Clearance took three days and the carrier took nine. I had been blaming the wrong half for two years.
comment on silly question but which day of the week should i pick in c/newbiequestions · 61 points · 1 months ago
ask the dumb question, three other people are searching for it
comment on the UK: excursion, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 369 points · 1 months ago
You cannot infer potency from a temperature record.
Disagreeing with this line only: freezing a reconstituted vial is not a safe default.
comment on [Results] 90 weeks, full dose-and-weight table, ask me anything in c/progresspics · 4 points · 1 months ago
Correction: 15kg over 11 months is a different claim from 15kg in a month, and the post reads as the second.
comment on stalled for 15 weeks at 2.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/glp1women · 1 points · 2 months ago
Small fix — insulin resistance is a feature commonly seen in PCOS, not a synonym for it.
comment on [PSA] cold chain is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/coldchain · 13 points · 2 months ago
if you want to know, log it, otherwise you are guessing
comment on small win: non-scale victory stopped being a problem at week 61 in c/progresspics · 24 points · 2 months ago
non-scale victories count and they are the ones people remember
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about transit time until somebody posts a number in c/intlshipping · 18 points · 2 months ago
Split one order across two months on purpose to compare summer and winter. Four days apart, same carrier, same route.
comment on the excursion thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/coldchain · 42 points · 2 months ago
That is a lane problem rather than a packaging problem, and the fixes are different.
comment on help me understand packaging, I have read the wiki twice in c/intlshipping · 2 points · 3 months ago
Kept a spreadsheet of quoted versus actual across a year. The quote held; the variance was all in the last mile.
comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on lane in c/intlshipping · 15 points · 3 months ago
regional stock changes everything about transit
comment on [Results] 72 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/progresspics · 4 points · 3 months ago
comparison is the thief of everything on a board like this
comment on genuine question about stability that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coldchain · 0 points · 3 months ago
Do you know what storage condition the stability statement covers?
Agreed, and a logger costs less than the vial you are worrying about.
comment on anyone else notice what is kicking in around week 86 in c/newbiequestions · 129 points · 5 months ago
Concentration is mass over volume, and a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre.
Agreed, and for anyone finding this later: that is the normal experience, not a warning sign.
comment on tried insulin resistance for 13 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1women · 11 points · 5 months ago
Small fix — insulin resistance is a feature commonly seen in PCOS, not a synonym for it.
comment on carrier — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 5 months ago
That is the quoted lead time, not the observed transit. Both belong in the report and they are different columns.
comment on carrier — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 303 points · 5 months ago
Yes — regional stock is the single biggest variable and it barely gets mentioned outside this board.
comment on genuine question about data logger that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coldchain · 7 points · 5 months ago
if you want to know, log it, otherwise you are guessing
comment on reading excursion threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/coldchain · 3 points · 5 months ago
Split an order across two months deliberately to compare summer and winter transit on the same lane. Four days difference, same carrier.
comment on Spain: cold chain, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 10 points · 5 months ago
Not convinced. A warm pack on day six is expected behaviour from a pack designed for four.
comment on does carrier actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 6 months ago
reship policy in writing before you order
comment on does carrier actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/intlshipping · 12 points · 6 months ago
Origin, destination, carrier and month?
comment on small win: PCOS stopped being a problem at week 61 in c/glp1women · 19 points · 6 months ago
Cosigning on fertility changing with weight loss. It catches people who were not expecting it at all.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify transit time in c/intlshipping · 6 points · 7 months ago
A quoted lead time is a commitment you can evaluate. Measuring quoted against actual across several orders tells you more about an operation than the raw speed does.
comment on [Question] insulin resistance — what am I missing here in c/glp1women · -30 points · 7 months ago
Push back: PCOS as a diagnosis and insulin resistance as a finding are not interchangeable, and the thread is using them as one.
comment on ice pack is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coldchain · 3 points · 8 months ago
You cannot infer potency from a temperature record. The record tells you what happened to the box; only a test tells you what happened to the material.
comment on someone explain shipping to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/intlshipping · 12 points · 8 months ago
Yes — median rather than best case.
laila_wojcik is right about regional stock. It changes the shape of the distribution, not just the mean.
comment on [Meta] the EMS rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/intlshipping · 5 points · 9 months ago
declared value and description are the shipper’s decision, ask what they use
comment on [Discussion] the goal advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/progresspics · 100 points · 9 months ago
What are you actually celebrating today? Genuine question.
