comment on [Results] 64 weeks, 11kg, and lowest effective dose was the hard part in c/maintenancephase · 0 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
comment on [Results] 64 weeks, 11kg, and lowest effective dose was the hard part in c/maintenancephase · 253 points · 1 year ago
Standing reminder that regain after stopping is a documented pharmacological outcome, and posts framing it as a moral failure get edited.
Disagreeing with this bit: a two-kilo range is not drift and treating it as a problem creates one.

no tracking numbers, ever

the last mile is where most of the variance lives
comment on [Question] hair loss — what am I missing here in c/sideeffects · 11 points · 1 year ago
Has anything else changed in the same window?
comment on [Question] hair loss — what am I missing here in c/sideeffects · 16 points · 1 year ago
muscle cramps for the first eight days after each step, then nothing, every single time. Predictable enough that I started planning my week around it.
comment on [Question] hair loss — what am I missing here in c/sideeffects · 298 points · 1 year ago
constipation on day two and gone by day four is the standard shape
comment on jurisdiction — 14 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/customs · 0 points · 1 year ago
Careful — that guidance is several years old and the rules where you are have moved since.
This is why every thread here has to start with a country.

Total transit includes a clearance stage that is not under the carrier’s control. Separating clearance time from carrier time is the first step in diagnosing any delay.
comment on help me understand heart rate, I have read the wiki twice in c/sideeffects · 130 points · 1 year ago
That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.
comment on help me understand heart rate, I have read the wiki twice in c/sideeffects · 0 points · 1 year ago
Correcting my own comment above: I said day three and my log says day two. Same pattern, wrong day.
comment on help me understand heart rate, I have read the wiki twice in c/sideeffects · 113 points · 1 year ago
Is it every week or did it start at a particular dose?
comment on the maintenance thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 12 points · 1 year ago
Agreed.
This reframing is the most useful thing on the board for anyone approaching this phase.
comment on the nausea thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/sideeffects · 118 points · 1 year ago
Right, and the hair thing is worth repeating: it tracks the rate of loss rather than the compound, and it stops.

research-use-only labelling is not a customs category
This is why every thread here has to start with a country.
comment on the constipation question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 1 year ago
Same pattern here. It settled at a stable dose without me doing anything clever.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify goal weight in c/maintenancephase · 12 points · 1 year ago
appetite returns before the scale acknowledges anything

Shipped from regional stock or from origin?
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for seizure posts in c/customs · 25 points · 1 year ago
Agreed on asking what documentation accompanies a shipment. Suppliers who ship regionally usually have a clear answer.
comment on [Discussion] nausea is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/sideeffects · 3 points · 1 year ago
Reflux was the one that got me. Stopped eating in the three hours before bed and it went from nightly to almost never.

the food noise going quiet is the effect people came for, and constipation is the toll for the first fortnight
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify DHL in c/intlshipping · 100 points · 1 year ago
I would not read a single slow shipment as a lane change. Post it and let the median move if it is real.
comment on how much of what we believe about lane actually comes from shipping threads in c/intlshipping · 16 points · 1 year ago
Same lane in a different season for comparison?
comment on am I the only one who found maintenance harder than the injections in c/maintenancephase · 41 points · 1 year ago
Yes — interval stretching and dose reduction are different levers and people use the words interchangeably.
comment on [Question] carrier — what am I missing here in c/intlshipping · -35 points · 2 years ago
Careful — the supplier does not control the last mile and most of your variance is in it.
comment on [Discussion] the nausea advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/sideeffects · 112 points · 2 years ago
Hair shedding after significant weight loss is a telogen effect that follows the rate of loss. It is not specific to these compounds and it resolves.
comment on [Results] 19 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 37 points · 2 years ago
This.
Adding one thing — decide what maintenance looks like before you arrive at it.
comment on personal import — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/customs · 55 points · 2 years ago
Asked somebody qualified locally rather than relying on this board. Best forty minutes I have spent on the topic.
comment on how much of what we believe about heart rate actually comes from reflux threads in c/sideeffects · 15 points · 2 years ago
the constipation that arrives at week 73 out of nowhere is usually something else
comment on genuine question about reflux that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/sideeffects · 106 points · 2 years ago
A symptom that begins the day after the shot and fades by day four tracks the exposure curve. One that appears at random in week 88 probably does not, and that is worth saying to a clinician rather than to us.
comment on nobody warned me about nausea and I would have liked the warning in c/maintenancephase · 24 points · 2 years ago
That is a range, not a trend. Two weigh-ins 17 days apart cannot distinguish them.
