comment on [Baseline] get these before you start, you cannot go back for them later in c/bloodwork · 5 points · 1 days ago

lab reference ranges are not treatment targets

permalink

comment on [Log] week 78, dose, weight, waist, sides, labs. nothing hidden. in c/dosinglogs · 18 points · 2 days ago

This. Annotating the weeks where something else changed is what makes the log interpretable later.

comment on [Update] week 44 — first stall in eleven months in c/dosinglogs · 36 points · 4 days ago

Did anything else change in the window you are asking about?

permalink

comment on [Explainer] lyophilised powder is far more forgiving than you think in c/coldchain · 31 points · 5 days ago

That is the ambient temperature at the destination, not the temperature inside the box. The logger measures the second one.

comment on [Explainer] HOMA-IR is crude and free, track it anyway in c/bloodwork · 1 points · 7 days ago

Correction: that marker is reported in different units by different labs, which explains the tenfold difference you are seeing.

comment on [Milestone] one full year of weekly entries in c/dosinglogs · 19 points · 8 days ago

Annotated the fortnight I changed training. Without that note the numbers around it would look like a mystery.

baseline before you start is worth more than any later panel

permalink

comment on [Concluded] 104 weeks. final numbers. thanks for reading. in c/dosinglogs · 35 points · 18 days ago

Small fix — that is a reconstructed entry rather than a contemporaneous one, and the post presents it as the latter.

Have you seen the current threshold published by your ICB?

an online consultation that asks you nothing is not a consultation

comment on clothes fit the same for 14 months and it is genuinely strange in c/maintenancephase · 160 points · 1 months ago

Drifted up 6kg over a winter and panicked. It came back off without any change, which is apparently just what weight does.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify ice pack in c/coldchain · 19 points · 1 months ago

A stability statement is only meaningful with its conditions attached: temperature, duration, light exposure, and whether it covers powder or solution. Ask which.

permalink

comment on what changed for me between month 9 and month 13 in c/dosinglogs · 0 points · 1 months ago

Contemporaneous records do not drift; reconstructed ones do, and the drift is systematic rather than random because memory smooths.

The online consultation asked me three questions, none of them about my history. I did not go ahead.

That is the first-month offer price, not the ongoing monthly cost. The tracker records the second one.

regional stock removes most of this problem entirely

comment on [Discussion] the MHRA advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/glp1uk · 1 points · 1 months ago

Two years and four months on a tier 3 list. Referral date and every letter kept, which turned out to matter when the service reorganised.

permalink

comment on maintenance is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/maintenancephase · 10 points · 2 months ago

Same. Monthly is plenty at this stage and daily weighing made me miserable for no information gain.

permalink

ask which lines are held in regional stock before you order in July

permalink

comment on reading dose history threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/dosinglogs · 2 points · 5 months ago

Choose a format you will still be able to open in two years. Plain text or a spreadsheet you export beats an application that may not exist.

You cannot infer potency from a temperature record. The record tells you what happened to the box; only a test tells you what happened to the material.

permalink

comment on [Results] 54 weeks on 0.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/bloodwork · 6 points · 5 months ago

Disagree with reading anything into that. One value, one morning, and you changed two other things in the same window.

permalink

comment on tried tracking for 13 weeks. here is what happened. in c/dosinglogs · 10 points · 6 months ago

Cosigning on missed weeks. Leaving them blank makes the whole series misleading.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for tier 3 posts in c/glp1uk · 6 points · 6 months ago

That is Scotland’s arrangement and the post is asking about England.

permalink

comment on weight — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/dosinglogs · 5 points · 6 months ago

Exported the whole thing to a plain text file after nearly losing it in an app that shut down.

permalink

comment on 6 months in and weight is still the thing I get wrong in c/dosinglogs · 5 points · 8 months ago

Is the concentration recorded anywhere in the log?

permalink

a warm gel pack tells you the pack failed, not that the material did

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 22 points · 8 months ago

Same.

Agreed — and appetite is the leading indicator. The scale is the lagging one.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 0 points · 8 months ago

What dose are you holding, and for how long now?

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring dose stretching at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/maintenancephase · 178 points · 8 months ago

Appetite returning before the scale moves follows from the mechanism: the appetite effect is the proximal one and weight is the lagging integrated outcome.

permalink

comment on three years of regain threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/maintenancephase · 319 points · 9 months ago

Careful — a dose reduction plan is a conversation with someone who knows your history, not a board consensus.

permalink

comment on weight: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/dosinglogs · 1 points · 9 months ago

export it somewhere you will still be able to read in two years

permalink

comment on Germany: lyophilised, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 2 points · 9 months ago

Regional stock changes the question rather than answering it: shorter lanes mean less exposure and fewer variables, which is why the warehouse question is worth asking before ordering in summer.

Kept a vial at room temperature for eleven days by accident. Tested it out of guilt. It was fine.

permalink

How many weeks between the two measurements?

Adding the obvious one — take it to whoever ordered the panel. This board cannot read it for you.
