small win: fatigue stopped being a problem at week 82

Side Effectsbranch of 6 comments

small win: fatigue stopped being a problem at week 82. Full detail below, and I have tried to keep the editorialising out of it. Kept a one-line-a-day log for two months. Most of the common complaints trace back to slowed gastric emptying — early fullness, reflux, nausea after a large or fatty meal. That is also why meal size and speed change the experience more than anything else.

Pushback: you changed the dose, the meal timing and the training in the same fortnight, so the attribution is guesswork.

Not convinced by that mechanism. Slowed gastric emptying explains fullness and reflux; it does not explain what you are describing.

Nothing in this thread is medical advice, including this comment. I am describing a mechanism, not telling anybody what to do about their own week.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

c/sideeffects rules
  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
