[Discussion] goal weight is doing more work than we give it credit for
goal weight is doing more work than we give it credit for. Making the case below, and I expect to lose some of it in the comments. Stretched from seven to ten days and then to twelve over about four months. Appetite told me where the limit was before the scale did. Been at maintenance for 9 months on 2.5mg. Nothing…
None of this is a taper plan. What dose holds for you is a question for somebody with your history in front of them.
find the dose that holds, then stop optimising
the lowest effective dose is a real target and nobody talks about it
That is a range, not a trend. Two weigh-ins 23 days apart cannot distinguish them.
monthly weigh-ins are enough at this stage
Standing reminder that regain after stopping is a documented pharmacological outcome, and posts framing it as a moral failure get edited.
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
maintenance is a phase, not a finish line
What is the plan if the drift continues for another month?
