The requirement is that documented trials of preferred alternatives exist. It is a record-keeping standard, not a clinical judgement about you, which is why arguing the clinical merits rarely moves it and producing dates and durations often does.

What to assemble: what was tried, at what dose, for how long, and what the documented outcome was. A one-page table with dates beats three pages of prose every time. Where a trial is contraindicated rather than simply unsuccessful, that needs to be stated explicitly by the prescriber in those terms.

Careful — the supplier does not control the last mile and most of your variance is in it.

Why this board reports by lane and not by supplier.

Two members ordering from the same operation, in the same month, can see completely different transit times because they are on different routes with different carriers and different clearance points. Averaging them produces a supplier-level number that predicts nothing for either of them.

A lane — origin, destination, carrier, month — is the smallest thing that behaves consistently enough to be worth measuring. Once a route has a dozen reports behind it the median is genuinely useful, and that is what the tables on the source pages are built from.

A series across separate lots estimates a process. Repeat tests on one lot estimate the measurement. Both are useful and they answer different questions.

The five things that would have saved me the most time in month one.

One: the first month is a tolerance check, not a results phase. Two: appetite usually changes before the scale does, so watch that instead. Three: write the concentration and the date on the vial the moment you reconstitute anything. Four: the loud posts are not the middle of the distribution. The result is a board where the posts are about people’s actual experience rather than about images, and where nobody is competing on the wrong axis. It was a deliberate choice, it has been challenged periodically, and every time it has been kept.

A certificate of analysis is a document describing one batch: what was tested, by what method, and what the result was. Its value depends entirely on whether it names the batch and the method.
