Stalled for 10 weeks and measured my waist out of stubbornness. It had moved. The scale had not.

Nobody noticed for months. Then several people noticed in the same fortnight, which was strange and quite nice.

Rate of change is not a virtue. Slower trajectories are as durable as fast ones and are considerably better represented on this board than the front page suggests.
