mg in vial ÷ mL added = mg/mL. Everything else is arithmetic you can check.

30kg over 13 months and honestly the most useful marker was that stairs stopped being a decision.

Stalled for 9 weeks and measured my waist out of stubbornness. It had moved. The scale had not.

Preparing to stop, as described by people here who have done it.
Write down where you are first: dose, date, weight, waist, and an honest note about how appetite feels. That page is what makes the following six months interpretable rather than a fog of impressions.
Decide in advance what you are watching for and over what period — appetite in the first month, weight over three, and a specific threshold at which you would want to revisit the decision. Have the conversation with a clinician before rather than after.
None of that is a schedule. It is a way of arriving at whatever happens next with information rather than with a vague sense of how it is going.

Shook the first vial because nobody told me not to. It was fine, but I have swirled every one since.
comment on genuine question about bacteriostatic water that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/reconstitution · 144 points · 1 year ago
The lyophilised cake displaces a small volume, so the true concentration is very slightly lower than the arithmetic suggests. It is a fraction of a percent and it is dwarfed by fill tolerance.

The dead space question sent me down a rabbit hole for a week. It is a fraction of a unit and it is the same every draw.

Small fix — a U-100 syringe is 100 units per mL.
Adding one thing — put the date on the label too. Concentration plus date and you can never mix two vials up.

Agreed — units are volume. Once that lands, the rest of the arithmetic is one division.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring regain at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tapering · 24 points · 1 year ago
Careful — interval stretching and dose reduction are different interventions and your post uses them interchangeably.
Agreed — and the exposure lag means the first fortnight tells you almost nothing.
comment on three years of appetite return threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 0 points · 1 year ago
Withdrawal studies across this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation, with appetite typically returning before weight chang
Disagreeing with this bit: stretching and reducing are different things and the post treats them as one.

Careful — that arithmetic is wrong. 20mg in 2mL is 10mg/mL, so 1mg draws to 10 units, not what you wrote.
comment on [Discussion] the mg/mL advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 77 points · 2 years ago
If your calculation produces a fraction of a unit, the concentration is wrong for your dose. Change the water volume until the numbers land on whole units.

Careful — that arithmetic is wrong. 10mg in 2mL is 5mg/mL, so 1.5mg draws to 30 units, not what you wrote.

Adding more water does not change how much peptide is in the vial. It changes the concentration, which changes the volume you draw for the same amount. That is the entire relationship.
