Yes — a logger in the box turns a fortnight of speculation into a chart.
comment on does private plan actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/glp1canada · 140 points · 1 year ago
Formulary criteria are revised, and plan renewal is a natural point at which a previously refused request may succeed without anything about the applicant changing.

stopping for financial reasons is not a personal failure

Moved provinces and the coverage position changed completely. Same person, same history, different formulary.

National regulatory approval establishes that a product may be sold. Whether any plan pays for it is a separate decision, and public drug plans are administered provincially.

Titration is a tolerance ladder. Each step exists so the gastrointestinal effects settle before the next increase, which is why the intervals are what they are.

Is this your first step up or the starting dose?
comment on Sweden: excursion, and what it actually costs here in c/coldchain · 42 points · 1 year ago
Ordered from the warehouse in Denmark instead of origin and the transit went from a fortnight to 11 days. Entirely different proposition in August.
comment on my ApoB moved and I cannot work out whether regret is why in c/darkspot · 1 points · 1 year ago
Fridge died in a heatwave and I lost three months of material. There was no clever lesson; I just had not thought about it.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about excursion until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 78 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that stability figure covers the lyophilised powder, not the reconstituted solution. Different claim entirely.
comment on three years of beginner threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/newbiequestions · 35 points · 1 year ago
What is the actual question underneath the question? Happy to answer both.
comment on the satiety question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/cagrilintide · 5 points · 1 year ago
Dosing intuitions from the GLP-1 boards do not transfer. Different receptor family, different exposure-response, and no published schedule for members to reason from.

Powder or already in solution?

Kept a vial at room temperature for eleven days by accident. Tested it out of guilt. It was fine.
comment on [Meta] the Canada rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1canada · 5 points · 1 year ago
Health Canada approval is not coverage
comment on cold chain — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/coldchain · 113 points · 1 year ago
Gel pack fully liquid on arrival, powder tested 98.2% against a claimed 97.5% afterwards. The pack had done its job for as long as it was designed to.

Do you know what storage condition the stability statement covers?

independent purity data on this compound is thin

the door shelf is the worst place in the fridge

A transit temperature logger records a distribution, and time above a threshold matters as much as peak temperature.
Disagreeing with this line only: freezing a reconstituted vial is not a safe default.
comment on data logger is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coldchain · 13 points · 2 years ago
Yes — reconstitution date on the vial. It is the number you will want and cannot reconstruct.
comment on [Discussion] data logger is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/coldchain · 9 points · 2 years ago
transit temperature is a distribution, not a number
