comment on [Log] week 78, dose, weight, waist, sides, labs. nothing hidden. in c/dosinglogs · 15 points · 2 days ago

Agreed. One line a week that actually gets written beats an elaborate template abandoned in month two.

comment on [Delay] two weeks in a transit hub, then delivered fine in c/intlshipping · 1 points · 3 days ago

That is the quoted lead time, not the observed transit.

Agreed — and the decomposition matters. Most people are blaming the international leg for a last-mile problem.

comment on [Fees] paying $14 of gas to save 10% on a $90 order is not saving in c/cryptopay · 3 points · 4 days ago

Rate quotes expire because the underlying rate moves. A short expiry is ordinary; urgency about your decision is a separate signal and should be read separately.

comment on [Trial Data] ATTAIN-1 numbers, and why the % is not the headline in c/orforglipron · 24 points · 4 days ago

Are you comparing doses across a small molecule and a peptide?

permalink

comment on [PSA] no tracking numbers. they identify both ends. removed on sight. in c/intlshipping · 8 points · 5 days ago

the last mile is where most of the variance lives

permalink

comment on [Caution] research use only. handling questions welcome, protocols are not. in c/bpc157 · 8 points · 6 days ago

Regulatory classification differs between jurisdictions and has changed in several of them recently. Any answer to a status question needs a place and a date attached.

no names without evidence, that is the sidebar rule and it is a good one

halima_boateng has the group-buy risk right — it is structural, not a judgement about anybody in particular.

comment on [Paper] what the rat tendon work actually measured in c/bpc157 · 1 points · 10 days ago

Kept a reconstituted vial too long out of curiosity and learned something about solution stability I would rather have read.

Purity by area percent tells you the sample is homogeneous. Mass spectrometry tells you what the homogeneous thing is. For a short peptide, the second question is the one worth paying for.

comment on [Lane Report] Tianjin → Canada, 14 days, two of three vials cracked in c/intlshipping · 9 points · 19 days ago

Small fix — shipped from the regional warehouse, not from origin, which is why the number looks unusual.

stability in solution is the practical question nobody asks

What jurisdiction are you asking about? The answer has changed in several.

comment on week 62 check-in — 20kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/dosinglogs · 4 points · 27 days ago

I would not draw a trend line through that. Two points and a gap is not a series.

Was there a memo or tag requirement on that chain?

permalink

comment on log — my 20-week log, condensed into one table in c/dosinglogs · 4 points · 1 months ago

Contemporaneous records do not drift; reconstructed ones do, and the drift is systematic rather than random because memory smooths.

comment on [Confirmed] site copied our own wiki text word for word to look legitimate in c/scamalerts · 24 points · 1 months ago

Ask for the batch-specific certificate before payment. Any operation with a quality system behind it can produce one; the request costs you nothing and it filters hard.

comment on [PSA] EMS is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/intlshipping · 18 points · 1 months ago

Correction: that was clearance time, not carrier time. The lane table separates them for exactly this reason.

Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.

Rate quotes expire because the underlying rate moves. A short expiry is ordinary; urgency about your decision is a separate signal and should be read separately.

Compared milligram figures across two completely different molecule classes in a comment.

Adding the standing caveat — unapproved, and research material is not for human use.

Daily rather than weekly sounds trivial until you think about what a missed dose means in each case.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about transit time until somebody posts a number in c/intlshipping · 64 points · 2 months ago

Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.

Agreed that quote expiry is ordinary. Rates move and a time-limited quote is not a pressure tactic on its own.

Incretin-based agents stimulate insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner, which is why hypoglycaemia risk with them alone is low. Risk rises with agents that act independently of glycaemia.

Careful. Regulatory status differs by jurisdiction and has changed; a confident global statement is going to be wrong somewhere.
