comment on [Medutest] split one vial across two services, results within 0.9% in c/labresults · 3 points · 12 days ago

Batch number and date of analysis?

permalink

comment on four accounts, same typo, same hour, all recommending the same shop in c/scamalerts · 17 points · 14 days ago

The site had a decade of testimonials and a domain registered in March. That was the entire investigation.

permalink

comment on [Question] how long were you on before you tapered in c/tapering · 1 points · 16 days ago

Regained most of it over a year and spent that year assuming it was my fault. It was not; it is what the literature describes.

comment on [Confirmed] group buy exit scam, 3.4k, full timeline and screenshots in c/scamalerts · 6 points · 20 days ago

no batch number, no date, no method — that is the pattern, not one detail

permalink

comment on anyone else notice regain kicking in around week 20 in c/tapering · 18 points · 21 days ago

the withdrawal data is unambiguous and it is not about willpower

permalink

comment on [Below Spec] 94.1% with a 1.8% single impurity. is that the des-amido in c/labresults · 10 points · 1 months ago

That service reports area percent by default. Worth stating, since the thread has been comparing it to a mass figure.

if you are going to test, test the thing you actually received

comment on reading protein threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1muscle · 18 points · 2 months ago

losing weight slower does not automatically preserve more lean mass

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for Medutest posts in c/labresults · 5 points · 3 months ago

Yes. Two services on the same batch is the strongest thing an individual member can produce, and it is not expensive.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about interval stretching until somebody posts a number in c/tapering · 11 points · 4 months ago

Interval stretching lowers the trough concentration while keeping the dose; dose reduction lowers the level while keeping the rhythm. They are different interventions with different subjective profiles.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about Medutest actually comes from batch threads in c/labresults · 34 points · 4 months ago

the log is cumulative, that is the whole value of it

permalink

comment on am I the only one who found interval stretching harder than the injections in c/tapering · 99 points · 5 months ago

This. Decide in advance what you are watching for. Deciding in the middle of it is much harder.

permalink

comment on purity — 7 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/labresults · 267 points · 5 months ago

If the report gives a mass spectrum as well as UV purity, say so. Identity and relative quantity are separate claims and the log tracks both.

permalink

comment on help me understand lean mass, I have read the wiki twice in c/glp1muscle · 12 points · 6 months ago

That protein figure is grams per day, not grams per kilogram. Different claim entirely.

permalink

comment on three years of protein threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1muscle · 30 points · 7 months ago

Small fix — that is fat-free mass, not muscle mass. The scan cannot separate them the way the post assumes.

permalink

comment on [Question] fake COA — what am I missing here in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 7 months ago

What dates are we talking about — order, payment, last contact?

permalink

comment on [Vendor] Homopeptide vs QSC on the same compound, same month — both cleared 98.0% in c/labresults · 83 points · 8 months ago

Right, and a point or two between services is ordinary. It is agreement, and every month somebody posts it as a scandal.

permalink

comment on [Vendor] Homopeptide vs QSC on the same compound, same month — both cleared 98.0% in c/labresults · 104 points · 8 months ago

Kept every report as a PDF with the batch in the filename. Two years in, it is the most useful folder I own.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice resistance training kicking in around week 92 in c/glp1muscle · 112 points · 8 months ago

Some lean mass loss accompanies weight loss in any deficit. Resistance training and adequate protein intake are the two interventions with the best evidence for limiting the proportion.

permalink

comment on fake COA — 13 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 8 months ago

That is a report count, not a test count, and it changes how thin the evidence base actually is.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about below spec until somebody posts a number in c/labresults · 32 points · 9 months ago

Chain of custody is why member-funded testing is worth more than a supplied certificate: the vial tested is the vial that arrived at a member’s door.

have the conversation with a clinician before, not after

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the Apotheke advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/glp1eu · 3 points · 10 months ago

Apotheke pricing and pharmacy pricing elsewhere are different systems

permalink

comment on [PSA] lean mass is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1muscle · 0 points · 11 months ago

Correction: those scans are from different machines, and the difference you are describing is within the measurement error.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring lean mass at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1muscle · 132 points · 11 months ago

Strength retention is an imperfect but free longitudinal proxy: it is affected by neural factors and by being in a deficit, so it tracks tissue change loosely rather than exactly.

Resistance training, and at what frequency?

permalink

comment on [Question] Janoshik — what am I missing here in c/labresults · 43 points · 1 year ago

Cosigning on saying who paid. It is the whole basis on which this log is worth anything.

permalink

comment on does scam actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 1 year ago

Careful. What you are describing is a delayed shipment, and this board should not turn that into an accusation without more.

permalink

comment on does scam actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that domain is one character different from the one you posted, which is rather the point of this thread.

permalink

comment on [Question] DEXA — what am I missing here in c/glp1muscle · 9 points · 1 year ago

What was the rate of weight change over that window?

Agreed — and same machine, same conditions, or the two scans are not comparable.

if the price is impossible, the material is the thing being economised on

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about pharmacy actually comes from EMA threads in c/glp1eu · 20 points · 1 year ago

That shortage notice was national and does not apply where the question is coming from.

permalink

comment on [Meta] the Apotheke rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1eu · 1 points · 1 year ago

Correction: that is the authorisation position, and the question was about reimbursement. Different bodies, different answers.

permalink

That shortage notice was national and does not apply where the question is coming from.

permalink

comment on [Meta] the Apotheke rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1eu · 82 points · 1 year ago

Correcting myself upthread: the criterion I quoted was updated for this year.

permalink

comment on [Meta] the Apotheke rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1eu · 191 points · 1 year ago

Marketing authorisation is granted centrally for these products; reimbursement, pricing and prescribing criteria are national competences. Those are decided by different bodies with different processes.

permalink

comment on someone explain lean mass to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 1 year ago

Fasted and hydrated the same way for both scans?

permalink

comment on the discontinuation thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/tapering · 26 points · 1 year ago

That is a pause rather than a stop, and the plans for the two are not the same.

Disagreeing with this bit: stretching and reducing are different things and the post treats them as one.

This is the whole intervention. Protein and resistance training.
