Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.
comment on does dose history actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/dosinglogs · 60 points · 1 year ago
Missing entries recorded as blanks preserve the shape of the series. Dropping them silently makes the remaining points look more regular than they were.
comment on what changed for me between month 11 and month 20 in c/t2dglp1 · 307 points · 1 year ago
Variability dropped before the average did, which was visible on the sensor and invisible on the lab result.
Disagreeing with this line: that endpoint is from the obesity programme and does not answer the question.
comment on reading New Zealand threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1aus · 6 points · 1 year ago
the shortage listing has an expected resolution date on it
comment on [Discussion] the moderation advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/meta · 91 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced by the proposal as worded. It would remove the specific thing that makes the vendor board usable.
comment on [Discussion] perimenopause is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1women · 18 points · 1 year ago
Hormonal variation across the cycle affects appetite, fluid retention and subjective symptom intensity independently of anything else, which is why an unannotated log can look mysterious.
comment on [Question] data logger — what am I missing here in c/coldchain · 67 points · 1 year ago
a warm gel pack tells you the pack failed, not that the material did
comment on small win: dose history stopped being a problem at week 6 in c/dosinglogs · 42 points · 1 year ago
I would not draw a trend line through that. Two points and a gap is not a series.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about excursion until somebody posts a number in c/coldchain · 10 points · 1 year ago
Kept a vial at room temperature for eleven days by accident. Tested it out of guilt. It was fine.
comment on [Meta] the Australia rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1aus · 2 points · 1 year ago
Kept the script and the receipt for a private health claim and both were requested.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for moderation posts in c/meta · 19 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced by the proposal as worded. It would remove the specific thing that makes the vendor board usable.
comment on [Discussion] the packaging advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/coldchain · 648 points · 1 year ago
Gel packs are designed for a duty cycle. A liquid pack at the end of a longer-than-expected transit is a pack behaving as specified, not evidence of an excursion in the vial.
comment on three years of compounding threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 1 year ago
Registration by the therapeutic goods regulator establishes that a product may be supplied. Subsidy listing is a separate decision about public funding, with its own criteria and its own timetable.
comment on the disclosure question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/meta · 6 points · 1 year ago
sponsor disclosure is on the about page in full
comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on lyophilised in c/coldchain · 13 points · 2 years ago
insulation buys hours, not days
comment on three years of Australia threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1aus · 8 points · 2 years ago
Correction: that is the registration decision, not the subsidy listing. They are made by different bodies.
comment on data logger is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coldchain · 78 points · 2 years ago
That is the ambient temperature at the destination, not the temperature inside the box. The logger measures the second one.
comment on [Meta] the lyophilised rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/coldchain · 1 points · 2 years ago
Which lane, and had it been quoted at that transit time?
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about rules until somebody posts a number in c/meta · 212 points · 2 years ago
the archive-after-a-year policy is deliberate
comment on [Discussion] data logger is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/coldchain · 622 points · 2 years ago
Lyophilisation removes the water that drives most degradation pathways. That is why the dry cake is comparatively robust and the reconstituted solution is not.

Yes — reconstitution date on the vial. It is the number you will want and cannot reconstruct.
comment on disclosure — 16 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/meta · 3 points · 2 years ago
removals get explained publicly where the rule allows it
