comment on resistance training — 15 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 1 year ago
Are you comparing against your own baseline or against a published average?
comment on genuine question about TRIUMPH that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/retatrutide · 126 points · 1 year ago
Independent purity testing on this compound is thin compared with the older molecules, simply because fewer members have paid for it. Fewer results means wider uncertainty, not a verdict.
comment on genuine question about TRIUMPH that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/retatrutide · 474 points · 1 year ago
The phase 2 readout ran to 48 weeks in a few hundred participants with a slow escalation. Both the size and the duration matter when people quote the headline number.
comment on [Question] area percent — what am I missing here in c/coa · 53 points · 1 year ago
That is the catalogue certificate rather than the batch-specific one. Same layout, completely different status.
comment on [Lab] 9th independent test on QYB — 97.7% on a claimed 97.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · 1.1k points · 1 year ago

comment on stalled for 6 weeks at 1.7mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/bloodwork · 15 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced by the attribution. Weight loss alone moves that marker and you have no way to separate the two.
comment on [Question] is 99.1% actually fine or am I being sold a rounding error in c/coa · 38 points · 1 year ago
UV at 214nm sees the peptide bond and picks up almost everything; at 280nm you are looking at aromatics only. Which wavelength the number came from is part of the number.
comment on tried protein for 24 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1muscle · 20 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — that is fat-free mass, not muscle mass. The scan cannot separate them the way the post assumes.
comment on tried protein for 24 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1muscle · 0 points · 1 year ago
Nothing here is a training or nutrition prescription.
Disagreeing with this line: rate alone does not preserve lean mass. The training does.
comment on units are the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — a U-100 syringe is 100 units per mL. If yours is marked differently it is not U-100 and the whole calculation changes.
comment on units are the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/reconstitution · 4 points · 1 year ago
units are a volume on a U-100 syringe, not a dose
comment on [Lab] WXT reta — PeptideMeter came back 97.7% against a claimed 97.0% in c/retatrutide · 42 points · 1 year ago
Careful with the rankings. A phase 2 result and a phase 3 result are not on the same evidential footing and cannot be listed in one table.
comment on [Vendor] QSC vs Homopeptide on the same compound, same month — both cleared 98.5% in c/retatrutide · 245 points · 1 year ago
Increases in heart rate have been reported across this receptor class. The magnitude and clinical significance are exactly what phase 3 is powered to establish.
comment on reading regain threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tapering · 9 points · 1 year ago
Yes — have the conversation before rather than after. That is the one piece of process advice this board can give.
comment on reading regain threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tapering · 47 points · 1 year ago
Stretching the interval or reducing the dose?
Disagreeing with this bit: stretching and reducing are different things and the post treats them as one.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about lipids until somebody posts a number in c/bloodwork · 22 points · 1 year ago
assay method matters, especially between different labs
comment on am I the only one who found triple agonist harder than the injections in c/retatrutide · 42 points · 1 year ago
Went up slowly, deliberately, because everything on this board says the escalation is where trouble lives. Uneventful so far and I am not going to pretend that is a finding.
comment on am I the only one who found triple agonist harder than the injections in c/retatrutide · 298 points · 1 year ago
Right, and it bears repeating that nothing here is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.
Disagree with this specific inference. A 48-week readout does not tell you the shape of the curve after it.
comment on am I the only one who found triple agonist harder than the injections in c/retatrutide · 112 points · 1 year ago
Correction: TRIUMPH is the phase 3 programme. The number you are quoting is from the phase 2 readout, which is a different trial.
comment on reading resistance training threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1muscle · 31 points · 1 year ago
Correction: those scans are from different machines, and the difference you are describing is within the measurement error.
comment on switched from 0.5mg to 1.0mg and early fullness got better, not worse in c/tapering · 1 points · 1 year ago
How long were you at the dose you are coming off?
comment on [Results] 44 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 9 points · 1 year ago
losing weight slower does not automatically preserve more lean mass
comment on [Discussion] the related substances advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/coa · 0 points · 1 year ago
I would not read a rounded figure as evasive. Plenty of documents round to one decimal as house style.
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Janoshik and Medutest — 98.1% and 97.6% in c/coa · 3 points · 1 year ago
Asked GGPeps for the batch-specific certificate and had the full document — batch, date, method line naming the column — inside six hours. That is now my baseline for everybody.
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Janoshik and Medutest — 98.1% and 97.6% in c/coa · 12 points · 1 year ago
Agreed — the itemised related substances table is the difference between a document and a receipt.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about reconstitution until somebody posts a number in c/reconstitution · 45 points · 1 year ago
Careful — that arithmetic is wrong. 15mg in 2mL is 7.5mg/mL, so 0.75mg draws to 10 units, not what you wrote.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about bacteriostatic water until somebody posts a number in c/reconstitution · 489 points · 1 year ago
dead space in the needle hub is real and it is small
comment on TRIUMPH: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 5 points · 1 year ago
Push back: quoting the phase 2 headline as an expected outcome is not a fair reading of a small trial with wide intervals.
comment on TRIUMPH: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 10 points · 1 year ago
Increases in heart rate have been reported across this receptor class. The magnitude and clinical significance are exactly what phase 3 is powered to establish.
comment on three years of water content threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/coa · 67 points · 1 year ago
chromatogram or it did not happen
comment on how much of what we believe about batch actually comes from purity threads in c/coa · 186 points · 1 year ago
Did you ask for the batch-specific document, or is this the catalogue one?
comment on three years of appetite return threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 12 points · 1 year ago
A written baseline — dose, date, weight, waist, and how appetite feels — taken before any change is what makes the following months interpretable rather than a series of impressions.
comment on three years of insulin syringe threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/reconstitution · 162 points · 1 year ago
If your calculation produces a fraction of a unit, the concentration is wrong for your dose. Change the water volume until the numbers land on whole units.
comment on anyone else notice triple agonist kicking in around week 65 in c/retatrutide · -34 points · 1 year ago
the energy-expenditure story is mechanistically interesting and clinically unproven
comment on reading eGFR threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/bloodwork · 129 points · 1 year ago
Yes — same lab, same fasting state, same rough time of day, or the comparison is doing nothing.
comment on insulin syringe is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/reconstitution · 15 points · 2 years ago
Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so treat everything in this thread as arithmetic about solutions rather than instructions for a person.
comment on how much of what we believe about batch actually comes from related substances threads in c/coa · 1 points · 2 years ago
Area percent is the peak area of your compound over the total integrated area, at one wavelength, on one gradient. It is a relative measure of what the detector saw, not a mass fraction of the vial.
comment on area percent is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/coa · 971 points · 2 years ago
The PDF creation date being later than the analysis date is usually a re-issue or a re-export. It is worth one question and it is not evidence of anything on its own.
comment on [Results] 27 weeks on 7.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1muscle · 16 points · 2 years ago
Nothing here is a training or nutrition prescription.
dexa_twice_yearly is right that protein becomes a logistics problem when appetite drops.
comment on nobody warned me about reflux and I would have liked the warning in c/bloodwork · 1 points · 2 years ago
Same view — ApoB if you add one thing. It answers a question the standard panel only gestures at.
