comment on what changed for me between month 10 and month 18 in c/bloodwork · 53 points · 5 months ago
Correction: that marker is reported in different units by different labs, which explains the tenfold difference you are seeing.
comment on what changed for me between month 10 and month 18 in c/bloodwork · 93 points · 5 months ago
Is that the same assay, or did the lab change platforms?
comment on [Discussion] units are doing more work than we give it credit for in c/reconstitution · 111 points · 5 months ago
the powder cake sits at the bottom, the volume you add is the volume that counts
comment on someone explain appetite return to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tapering · 5 points · 5 months ago
the habits are what has to carry it afterwards
comment on why does nobody talk about baseline labs in c/bloodwork · 6 points · 5 months ago
Time of day, fasting state, hydration and recent exercise all move common markers. Standardising the draw conditions is free and it removes most of the apparent variability.
comment on week 59 check-in — 30kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/tapering · 5 points · 6 months ago
interval stretching is the most commonly described approach here
comment on does purity actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/coa · 19 points · 6 months ago
Sent one vial to VendorInvestigate and PeptideMeter. 99.3% and a claimed 98.5%. Cost me more than the vial and I would do it again.
comment on does purity actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/coa · 65 points · 6 months ago
UV at 214nm sees the peptide bond and picks up almost everything; at 280nm you are looking at aromatics only. Which wavelength the number came from is part of the number.
comment on [PSA] DEXA is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1muscle · 4 points · 7 months ago
FFMI is a ratio and it moves when either term moves
comment on [Discussion] dead space is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/reconstitution · 40 points · 7 months ago
Show the arithmetic — where did the unit figure come from?
comment on [PSA] DEXA is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1muscle · 10 points · 7 months ago
Protein was the whole problem. Appetite dropped and I was eating well under target without noticing for a month.
comment on [PSA] DEXA is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 7 months ago
Fasted and hydrated the same way for both scans?
comment on week 31 check-in — 11kg down, sulphur burps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/bloodwork · 34 points · 7 months ago
How many weeks between the two measurements?
comment on genuine question about COA that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coa · 105 points · 8 months ago
That is the catalogue certificate rather than the batch-specific one. Same layout, completely different status.
comment on anyone else notice resistance training kicking in around week 92 in c/glp1muscle · -44 points · 8 months ago
Tracked grip strength and three lifts monthly. Cheaper than scanning and directionally the same answer.
comment on [Vendor] KP vs BCH on the same compound, same month — both cleared 97.5% in c/coa · 1 points · 8 months ago
What does the method line actually say?
Agreed, and the practical version is: ask for the itemised table. If it exists, you get it.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify reconstitution in c/reconstitution · 10 points · 8 months ago
I keep a laminated card in the drawer with the arithmetic on it. Looks ridiculous. Has never once let me draw the wrong volume.
comment on [Lab] 12th independent test on QST — 98.6% on a claimed 98.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/coa · 41 points · 8 months ago
What does the method line actually say? Not the technique — the column and the gradient.
comment on week 32 check-in — 14kg down, nausea manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 9 points · 9 months ago
That reads as a titration plan for an unapproved compound. This board cannot host that and it should not want to.
comment on three years of tapering threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 66 points · 9 months ago
Push back: that is a taper schedule aimed at another member and this board does not host those.
comment on why does nobody talk about interval stretching in c/tapering · 49 points · 9 months ago
coming back later is allowed and it is common
comment on stalled for 15 weeks at 15mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/bloodwork · 1 points · 10 months ago
My TSH moved and I spent a fortnight convinced I knew why. The repeat six weeks later was back in range and I had changed nothing.
comment on is it normal to get sulphur burps at week 87 in c/retatrutide · 59 points · 10 months ago
Right, and it bears repeating that nothing here is approved anywhere and research material is not for human use.
comment on why does nobody talk about batch in c/coa · 113 points · 10 months ago
Correction: that is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning, and the document says so if you read the row label.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for dead space posts in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 11 months ago
more water is not more drug, it is the same drug in a bigger volume
comment on [Results] 51 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/bloodwork · 131 points · 11 months ago
Compared two draws across two labs and spent a week worrying before finding out the assays were different.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about dead space is guesswork in c/reconstitution · 6 points · 11 months ago
That only works if the fill weight is exactly the label weight, and it usually is not exactly anything.
Adding one thing — put the date on the label too. Concentration plus date and you can never mix two vials up.
comment on [Question] ApoB — what am I missing here in c/bloodwork · 67 points · 11 months ago
Careful — that is a question for whoever ordered the panel, and nobody in this thread can answer it responsibly.
comment on [Question] batch — what am I missing here in c/coa · 15 points · 11 months ago
ask for the storage condition the stability statement was written against
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify glucagon in c/retatrutide · 154 points · 11 months ago
Careful with the rankings. A phase 2 result and a phase 3 result are not on the same evidential footing and cannot be listed in one table.
comment on triple agonist is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/retatrutide · 218 points · 1 year ago
Correcting my own comment above: that figure was the 36-week interim, not the 48-week endpoint.
comment on triple agonist is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/retatrutide · 744 points · 1 year ago
Trial names corrected in the title.
Disagree with this specific inference. A 48-week readout does not tell you the shape of the curve after it.
comment on how much of what we believe about tapering actually comes from discontinuation threads in c/tapering · 228 points · 1 year ago
There is very little published guidance on stopping specifically, which is exactly why board consensus here should carry less weight than usual and a clinician conversation should carry more.
comment on three years of interval stretching threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 22 points · 1 year ago
decide what you are watching for before you stop
comment on three years of interval stretching threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 17 points · 1 year ago
Careful — interval stretching and dose reduction are different interventions and your post uses them interchangeably.
comment on purity — 6 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/coa · 195 points · 1 year ago
Agreed on asking for the storage condition. It is one line and it changes how you read the entire stability claim.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about glucagon in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Which phase 2 arm are you quoting, and at what week?
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify DEXA in c/glp1muscle · 33 points · 1 year ago
Protein was the whole problem.
Adding the free proxy — track a few lifts monthly. It costs nothing and it is longitudinal.
comment on how much of what we believe about appetite return actually comes from regain threads in c/tapering · 1 points · 1 year ago
cost and supply are the two most common reasons and both are legitimate
comment on tried triple agonist for 19 weeks. here is what happened. in c/retatrutide · 24 points · 1 year ago
Went up slowly, deliberately, because everything on this board says the escalation is where trouble lives. Uneventful so far and I am not going to pretend that is a finding.
