comment on goal weight — my 23-week log, condensed into one table in c/maintenancephase · 252 points · 1 year ago
That reads like a taper schedule and this board cannot hand those out.
comment on [Discussion] private prescription is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1uk · 8 points · 1 year ago
This.
Adding the practical bit — ask what happens at discharge before you start, not after.
comment on the crypto thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/cryptopay · 7 points · 1 year ago
Escrow is not standard in this space. Wanting it is reasonable; expecting it as default is not.

escrow arrangements are rare and worth asking about
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about MHRA until somebody posts a number in c/glp1uk · 28 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — that is the Scottish pathway. The post is asking about England and the answer is different.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring regain at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tapering · 0 points · 1 year ago
That is a pause rather than a stop, and the plans for the two are not the same.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring network at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/cryptopay · 43 points · 2 years ago
ask which networks they actually accept before you order

Nearly sent on the wrong network. The token symbol was identical and the address format was the only clue.
comment on switched from 7.5mg to 10mg and injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/maintenancephase · 30 points · 2 years ago
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, not a personal failure
comment on how much of what we believe about regain actually comes from lowest effective dose threads in c/maintenancephase · 150 points · 2 years ago
Push back: that is not a plateau, that is maintenance. You have arrived and you are describing it as a failure.
comment on [Discussion] pharmacy is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1uk · 16 points · 2 years ago
A private prescription is an independent route: it does not affect NHS list position, and it is not a step in the same pathway.
comment on reading pricing threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1uk · 30 points · 2 years ago
Discharge from a specialist service at goal is a normal end point of that pathway.
This is why national advice does not work here. It is commissioned locally and it varies.
comment on lowest effective dose — 2 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/maintenancephase · 340 points · 2 years ago
Dose reduction and interval extension are different interventions. Halving the dose keeps the rhythm and lowers the level; stretching keeps the level and lowers the frequency, with a lower trough.
comment on [Results] 30 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/maintenancephase · 65 points · 2 years ago
I would not treat a two-kilo range as drift requiring action. That is ordinary weight variation.
comment on someone explain NHS to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/glp1uk · 22 points · 2 years ago
Yes — the consultation that asks nothing tells you what kind of service it is.
comment on do gas fees actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/cryptopay · 1 points · 2 years ago
