comment on [Private Rx] the online consultation asked me nothing. that is not safe. in c/glp1uk · 4 points · 2 days ago
GP said no and specialist said yes is a very common sequence
comment on [Question] which networks do vendors actually credit reliably in c/cryptopay · 8 points · 4 days ago
network and address, checked twice, before anything else
comment on [Question] vendor says paid, chain says confirmed, nobody shipped. now what in c/cryptopay · 6 points · 10 days ago
Got a quote with a fifteen-minute expiry and assumed it was a pressure tactic. It was just a held rate.
comment on [PSA] never post a wallet address here. not yours, not theirs. in c/cryptopay · 1 points · 12 days ago
Confirmation took forty minutes on a busy evening and I had already written half an angry message. Deleted it.
comment on [PSA] never post a wallet address here. not yours, not theirs. in c/cryptopay · 45 points · 13 days ago
Escrow is not standard in this space. Wanting it is reasonable; expecting it as default is not.
comment on [Discussion] restarting is not failing and we should say that louder in c/tapering · 33 points · 14 days ago
Has appetite changed yet, independent of the scale?
comment on [Discussion] we have no vocabulary for success that is not a number going down in c/maintenancephase · 8 points · 18 days ago
Right — appetite returns before the scale moves, which is the early signal people miss.
comment on clothes fit the same for 14 months and it is genuinely strange in c/maintenancephase · 37 points · 1 months ago
regain after stopping is the expected outcome, not a personal failure
comment on how much of what we believe about tier 3 actually comes from NHS threads in c/glp1uk · 7 points · 1 months ago
ask the pharmacy for the price list, not the headline offer
comment on reading goal weight threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/maintenancephase · 25 points · 1 months ago
Withdrawal studies in this class consistently show substantial regain after discontinuation.
Adding one thing — decide what maintenance looks like before you arrive at it.
comment on the appetite return question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/tapering · 11 points · 1 months ago
The habits are what carried it for a while. When they slipped, everything else followed, in that order.
comment on regain: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/maintenancephase · 18 points · 1 months ago
Yes — interval stretching and dose reduction are different levers and people use the words interchangeably.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about NHS until somebody posts a number in c/glp1uk · -5 points · 1 months ago
GP said no and specialist said yes is a very common sequence
comment on dose stretching: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/maintenancephase · 94 points · 2 months ago
None of this is a taper plan. What dose holds for you is a question for somebody with your history in front of them.
comment on the long term thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/maintenancephase · 7 points · 3 months ago
Cosigning on planning it in advance. Deciding what maintenance looks like while still losing is much easier than deciding it in a panic.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring pharmacy at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1uk · 1 points · 3 months ago
Right, and reading the actual supply notice rather than the coverage of it saves a fortnight of speculation.
comment on is it normal to get sulphur burps at week 47 in c/tapering · 53 points · 4 months ago
Not convinced. Two weeks of stable weight is not evidence of anything yet.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about maintenance in c/maintenancephase · 182 points · 4 months ago
The two levers, described properly, because this board mixes them up constantly.
Disagreeing with this bit: a two-kilo range is not drift and treating it as a problem creates one.
comment on three years of MHRA threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/glp1uk · 52 points · 5 months ago
Agreed.
Disagreeing with this line: that is the arrangement in one nation and the question is about another.
comment on the private prescription thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/glp1uk · 0 points · 5 months ago
Disagreeing with this line: that is the arrangement in one nation and the question is about another.
This is why national advice does not work here. It is commissioned locally and it varies.
comment on [Meta] the chargeback rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/cryptopay · 522 points · 6 months ago
The transaction hash is the canonical receipt: it is public, verifiable by either party, and it is what a support query should quote.
comment on why does nobody talk about discontinuation in c/tapering · 0 points · 6 months ago
Disagree with the framing.
arne_amankwah is right that regain is a documented outcome rather than a character verdict.
comment on does regain actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/maintenancephase · 41 points · 9 months ago
Push back: that is not a plateau, that is maintenance. You have arrived and you are describing it as a failure.
comment on three years of regain threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/maintenancephase · 313 points · 9 months ago
That is a range, not a trend. Two weigh-ins 13 days apart cannot distinguish them.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify crypto in c/cryptopay · 75 points · 9 months ago
Escrow is not standard in this space. Wanting it is reasonable; expecting it as default is not.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for dose stretching posts in c/maintenancephase · 2 points · 10 months ago
This. The withdrawal data is not ambiguous and framing regain as a personal failure is both wrong and cruel.
comment on how much of what we believe about gas fees actually comes from escrow threads in c/cryptopay · 421 points · 1 year ago
A test transaction costs one extra network fee and verifies the address, the network and the recipient’s crediting process before the main amount move
cesar_teixeira is right about confirmations. "Sent" is not a status.
comment on [Results] 64 weeks, 11kg, and lowest effective dose was the hard part in c/maintenancephase · 90 points · 1 year ago
Yes.
This reframing is the most useful thing on the board for anyone approaching this phase.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about MHRA is guesswork in c/glp1uk · 28 points · 1 year ago
Small fix — that is the Scottish pathway. The post is asking about England and the answer is different.
comment on [Results] 11 weeks on 7.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/tapering · 32 points · 1 year ago
Stretched from seven days to ten to twelve over four months. Appetite told me where the limit was each time.
comment on how much of what we believe about gas fees actually comes from USDC threads in c/cryptopay · 7 points · 1 year ago
send a test amount first if the total is large
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about goal weight is guesswork in c/maintenancephase · 67 points · 1 year ago
Body weight varies by a couple of kilos over days in stable people through fluid, glycogen and gut content. A range is not a trend.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for tapering posts in c/tapering · 18 points · 1 year ago
interval stretching is the most commonly described approach here
comment on the discontinuation thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/tapering · 35 points · 1 year ago
That reads as advice to stop, which is not something anyone here should be offering.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about confirmations are guesswork in c/cryptopay · 8 points · 1 year ago
A test transaction costs one extra network fee and verifies the address, the network and the recipient’s crediting process before the main amount moves.
comment on [Meta] the regain rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
What is the plan if the drift continues for another month?
comment on [Meta] the regain rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that trial measured regain after withdrawal, not failure of the drug during treatment. Very different claim.
Housekeeping: the regain rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining. The two levers, described properly, because this board mixes them up constantly.…

Confirmations are the count of blocks built on top of the one containing your transaction. Until there are some, the transaction is not settled in any meaningful sense.
