7-day rolling average or you will quit at week 8 like everybody else. the daily number is noise wearing a costume.

the scale is noisy day to day, water/sodium/hormones/everything. a 7-day rolling average is the only line worth reacting to and four weeks of that flat is a genuinely different signal than four weeks of raw numbers flat.

a 7-day rolling average through the holidays would probably show even less movement than the monthly snapshot table suggests, worth checking if you kept the daily numbers

the tracking itself was probably part of the "project" feeling for a lot of us, not just the weight loss, so of course it feels like a loss when the tracking winds down too

the measurement-artifact piece is underrated though. week 1-3 people are riding novelty and adrenaline and often not weighing carefully. week 4 the novelty wears off, they start weighing daily and obsessively, and daily noise looks like a wall purely because they're finally looking closely enough to see it.

would love to see this as a rolling-average chart once you're further in, raw weekly numbers on a titration log tend to hide the trend under the noise

daily weight is dominated by water, sodium, hormones, bowel contents, and approximately none of that is fat loss signal. plot a 7-day rolling average instead of raw numbers and this "stall" mostly disappears visually.

the ratio really is the whole story here, 4kg means something completely different depending on whether the starting loss was 10kg or 40kg

Total transit is first mile, international leg, customs clearance and last mile. I had been attributing everything to the international leg because that is the part with the exotic-sounding name.

When I finally logged the stages separately, the international leg was the most consistent part of the whole journey. The variance was in clearance and in the domestic delivery at my end — neither of which the supplier controls. That reframed how I read every lane report on this board, and it is why the table separates the stages.

the rolling-average method still applies at week 8, it just takes a longer flat window before you call it, because by then some of the earlier noise sources (novelty weighing, initial water shifts) have settled and the signal is cleaner

the threshold (rolling avg flat 3+ weeks) isn't arbitrary though, it's roughly matched to how long it takes water/sodium noise to average out. it's not built to always say noise, it's just that most short stalls genuinely are noise, which is the actual point being made across all these threads.

What is actually known, and what is being assumed.

Known: it is a small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist, dosed daily, with clinical programmes reporting in both obesity and type 2 diabetes. Its tolerability profile broadly resembles the class in the data published so far.

Assumed, frequently and confidently: that milligram comparisons with injectables mean something, that adherence is straightforwardly better because it is a tablet, that peptide purity discussions transfer to it. None of those hold. And nothing containing this compound is approved anywhere, which makes research-use-only material exactly that — not approved for human use.

Weekly dosing again, half-life in the same neighbourhood as sema, so a step change takes about a month to reach steady state. Judging a new step at day five is judging noise.

switching from sema is not a dose conversion, there is no clean equivalence
