comment on what would you tell week-1 you about failure in c/darkspot · 16 points · 11 months ago
Chased the scale instead of the measurements for a year and made myself miserable for no additional progress.
comment on [Discussion] the reconstitution advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 16 points · 11 months ago
Reconstituted at 3mL when I meant to use a different volume. Caught it because the units looked wrong on the barrel. Now I write 5mg/mL on the glass before I put the cap back.
comment on someone explain 15mg to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tirzepatide · 37 points · 1 year ago
Sulphur burps for the first eight days after each step, then nothing. Predictable enough that I planned my week around it.
comment on someone explain 15mg to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tirzepatide · 19 points · 1 year ago
The thing nobody warned me about was how much of this is logistics — storing it, remembering it, the same day every week.

dual agonist, so the GIP arm is doing something the sema threads will not tell you about

Small fix: SURMOUNT is the obesity programme, SURPASS is the type-2 programme. They are different endpoints and the numbers do not transfer.

the four-week step schedule is the label, not folklore
comment on [Question] MHRA — what am I missing here in c/glp1uk · 16 points · 1 year ago
How long have you been on the list, and from what date?
comment on am I the only one who found tracking harder than the injections in c/dosinglogs · 7 points · 1 year ago
Careful — posting a log as a schedule for other people to follow is not what this board is for.
comment on someone explain dual agonist to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/tirzepatide · 479 points · 1 year ago
The four-week interval in the label is a minimum. Nothing about the pharmacology requires you to step on schedule, and the trials stepped on a calendar because trials have to.
comment on [Results] 63 weeks on 5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/tirzepatide · 26 points · 1 year ago
Agree. The GIP component is the interesting half and it barely gets discussed outside c/glp1science.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about glucagon in c/retatrutide · 379 points · 1 year ago
phase 2 data only, and people quote it like it is a label
comment on what went wrong is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/darkspot · 95 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning that going too fast is the most repeated regret on the whole site.
comment on [PSA] units are not what most of this community thinks it is in c/reconstitution · 5 points · 1 year ago
reconstituting at a round concentration makes every later dose easy
comment on Canada: Australia, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 1 year ago
Asked the pharmacist to check the wholesaler and had a definite answer in about four minutes.
comment on Canada: Australia, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1aus · 11 points · 1 year ago
Kept the script and the receipt for a private health claim and both were requested.
comment on Canada: Australia, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1aus · 46 points · 1 year ago
Checked the shortage database myself instead of reading the coverage. Expected resolution date was right there and the panic thread was wrong.
comment on does reconstitution actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 1 year ago
units are a volume on a U-100 syringe, not a dose
comment on reading 15mg threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tirzepatide · 4 points · 1 year ago
2.5mg is a four-week starting dose, not a maintenance dose. Worth being precise since people search these threads.
comment on reading New Zealand threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1aus · 25 points · 1 year ago
Is this about registration or about subsidy?
comment on [Meta] the private prescription rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1uk · 1 points · 1 year ago
Agreed. The ICB variation is the thing that makes national advice useless here.
comment on reading declared value threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/customs · 107 points · 1 year ago
research-use-only labelling is not a customs category
comment on [Vendor] ERP vs SGN on the same compound, same month — both cleared 98.0% in c/tirzepatide · 84 points · 1 year ago
The 21% figure is a 72-week mean on the highest arm. Quoting it as what someone should expect by week 22 is not a fair reading.
comment on [Lab] WXT reta — PeptideMeter came back 97.7% against a claimed 97.0% in c/retatrutide · 466 points · 1 year ago
Went up slowly, deliberately, because everything on this board says the escalation is where trouble lives. Uneventful so far and I am not going to pretend that is a finding.
comment on [Results] 66 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/tirzepatide · 51 points · 1 year ago
Sulphur burps for the first eight days after each step, then nothing. Predictable enough that I planned my week around it.
comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether below spec is why in c/darkspot · 4 points · 1 year ago
Is this the first time, or a pattern you can see now?
comment on import is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/customs · 15 points · 1 year ago
Have you asked the supplier what they declare?
comment on the fake COA question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/scamalerts · 17 points · 1 year ago
Cosigning the domain check. Character by character, every time, and paste it rather than typing it.
comment on [Question] reconstitution — what am I missing here in c/reconstitution · 4 points · 1 year ago
The lyophilised cake displaces a small volume, so the true concentration is very slightly lower than the arithmetic suggests. It is a fraction of a percent and it is dwarfed by fill tolerance.
comment on is it normal to get early fullness at week 64 in c/retatrutide · 38 points · 1 year ago
a lot of the confident posting here is extrapolation
comment on tried weight for 3 weeks. here is what happened. in c/dosinglogs · 1 points · 1 year ago
Yes — log what happened rather than what you intended. My retrospective entries were quietly wrong every time.
comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about phase 2 is guesswork in c/retatrutide · 59 points · 1 year ago
the phase 2 numbers were striking and they were also 48 weeks in a small population
comment on help me understand 15mg, I have read the wiki twice in c/tirzepatide · 34 points · 1 year ago
switching from sema is not a dose conversion, there is no clean equivalence
comment on [Vendor] Homopeptide order #22 — Sweden, 13 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/customs · 232 points · 1 year ago
I would not read a single clearance experience as a rule. Sample size one, and customs is not deterministic.
comment on my ferritin moved and I cannot work out whether tracking is why in c/dosinglogs · 36 points · 1 year ago
Contemporaneous records do not drift; reconstructed ones do, and the drift is systematic rather than random because memory smooths.
comment on [Meta] the tier 3 rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1uk · 414 points · 1 year ago
In England, specialist weight management services are commissioned locally, so eligibility criteria and waiting times differ by ICB.
Disagreeing with this line: that is the arrangement in one nation and the question is about another.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for seizure posts in c/customs · 7 points · 1 year ago
Total transit includes a clearance stage that is not under the carrier’s control. Separating clearance time from carrier time is the first step in diagnosing any delay.
comment on reading tier 3 threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1uk · 73 points · 1 year ago
In England, specialist weight management services are commissioned locally, so eligibility criteria and waiting times differ by ICB. There is no single national threshold to quote.
comment on [Lab] 4th independent test on GGPeps — 97.9% on a claimed 97.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/scamalerts · 67 points · 1 year ago
Nearly paid a cloned storefront.
Agreed. Dates and documents make a report. Adjectives make a thread.
comment on [Question] mg/mL — what am I missing here in c/reconstitution · 98 points · 1 year ago
Disagree with the "more water is safer" framing. It is not safer, it is just a different number to divide by.
