Overview — page 3 of 3

comment on what changed for me between month 5 and month 8 in c/survodutide · 0 points · 1 year ago

Histological endpoints in this field are scored on biopsy: resolution of steatohepatitis without worsening of fibrosis, or improvement in fibrosis without worsening of steatohepatitis. Both are harder to achieve and to interpret than an imaging surrogate.

comment on the UK: network, and what it actually costs here in c/cryptopay · 48 points · 1 year ago

Confirmation took forty minutes on a busy evening and I had already written half an angry message. Deleted it.

A token symbol identifies an asset, not a network. The same symbol commonly exists on several chains with incompatible address formats, and sending across that boundary is generally unrecoverable.

Correction: that is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning, and the document says so if you read the row label.

Careful with that mean. The distribution around it was wide enough that it describes very few individual participants.

read the histology endpoint definitions before quoting a response rate

Wrote the date on the vial as well as the concentration after losing track of which one was opened first.

Push back: an unconfirmed transaction is not a missing payment. Wait for confirmations before escalating.

What is written on the vial right now?

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify mg/mL in c/reconstitution · 34 points · 2 years ago

Correcting myself above: I wrote the concentration the wrong way up. Mass over volume, not volume over mass.

Are you accounting for the powder volume, or is that where the confusion is?

Biopsy-confirmed population or imaging-selected?

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring network at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/cryptopay · 158 points · 2 years ago

Confirmations are the count of blocks built on top of the one containing your transaction. Until there are some, the transaction is not settled in any meaningful sense.

Absolute or relative risk reduction?

Which endpoint — histological response, fibrosis improvement, or fat fraction?

area% is not mass%, and the difference is the whole game

net peptide content and purity are two different numbers on the same vial

comment on [Discussion] the units advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/reconstitution · 2 points · 2 years ago

Small fix — a U-100 syringe is 100 units per mL. If yours is marked differently it is not U-100 and the whole calculation changes.

That is the catalogue certificate rather than the batch-specific one. Same layout, completely different status.

MASH endpoints are histological, which is a much harder bar

Disagreeing with this bit: that number comes from a different programme with a different population.

Agreed. Half the arguments on this site are two people quoting different trials at each other without noticing.

Intention-to-treat analyses everybody randomised regardless of what they did afterwards. Completer analyses only those who finished. The second is systematically more flattering and both are legitimate if labelled.

Adding more water does not change how much peptide is in the vial. It changes the concentration, which changes the volume you draw for the same amount. That is the entire relationship.
