Push back: the compounded arrangements changed and the advice you are quoting predates the change.

SURPASS is the diabetes programme and reports glycaemic endpoints

comment on [PSA] no tracking numbers. they identify both ends. removed on sight. in c/intlshipping · 44 points · 5 days ago

Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.

comment on [Lane Report] Guangzhou → Australia, 11 days, ice pack gone but powder intact in c/intlshipping · 73 points · 6 days ago

Median transit is the useful statistic. The minimum is a story about one shipment and the mean is dragged around by a single hold.

Area percent or net peptide content?

comment on is it bad that i am not nauseous at all in c/newbiequestions · -34 points · 17 days ago

The injection was scarier in my head than in reality. It took about ten seconds and I felt slightly silly afterwards.

Ask for the batch-specific certificate before payment. Any operation with a quality system behind it can produce one; the request costs you nothing and it filters hard.

Small fix — shipped from the regional warehouse, not from origin, which is why the number looks unusual.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the New Zealand advice in here is 2 years out of date in c/glp1aus · 30 points · 29 days ago

Pharmacy-level availability and national supply are different questions: a pharmacy can be out while the wholesaler is not, and the pharmacist can check in minutes.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we need a standard template or these posts are unsearchable in c/labresults · 5 points · 29 days ago

Date of analysis anchors the result to a manufacturing period. A two-year-old result is evidence about two years ago and should be read that way.

Same lane in a different season for comparison?

permalink

comment on [Meta] the FLOW rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/trialwatch · 25 points · 1 months ago

The registered protocol is public. Comparing the registered primary endpoint with the reported one is a two-minute check and it is how outcome switching gets caught.

permalink

ask which lines are actually held in the regional warehouse

permalink

comment on [PSA] STEP is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 1 months ago

Adding the check nobody runs — the registered protocol is public and takes two minutes to compare.

nora_oyelaran is right about the programme names. They are different populations with different endpoints.

inter-lab variance runs a point or two, plan your outrage accordingly

Adding the boring but useful bit: say whether you paid for it. It is the basis of the whole log.

Yes — the withdrawal literature is consistent and it is a pharmacological finding, not a moral one.

permalink

permalink

comment on [Question] PBS — what am I missing here in c/glp1aus · 16 points · 2 months ago

Pharmacy-level availability and national supply are different questions: a pharmacy can be out while the wholesaler is not, and the pharmacist can check in minutes.

permalink

comment on SELECT: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/trialwatch · 57 points · 3 months ago

Yes — the interval is the finding. A point estimate with a wide interval is a hypothesis in a nice font.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get sulphur burps at week 47 in c/tapering · 18 points · 4 months ago

Careful — interval stretching and dose reduction are different interventions and your post uses them interchangeably.

permalink

comment on is it normal to get sulphur burps at week 47 in c/tapering · 34 points · 4 months ago

This. Decide in advance what you are watching for. Deciding in the middle of it is much harder.

permalink

comment on stalled for 2 weeks at 15mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/newbiequestions · 3 points · 4 months ago

I would not panic about that. It is on the list of ordinary first-month experiences.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about transit time actually comes from reship threads in c/intlshipping · 50 points · 4 months ago

Total transit decomposes into first mile, international leg, clearance and last mile. Only the first two are meaningfully under the shipper’s control and most reported variance sits in the last two.

Regained most of it over a year and spent that year assuming it was my fault. It was not; it is what the literature describes.

Cosigning the seasonality point. February and August on the same lane are different animals.
