Regainbranch of 8 comments

switched from 0.5mg to 1.0mg and early fullness got better, not worse. Not a hot take, just something I have not seen said plainly here. 0.5mg and 1.0mg. Those are measured, not estimated, and not rounded up in my favour. A written baseline — dose, date, weight, waist, and how appetite feels — taken before any change…

Nothing on this board is a taper schedule, and no member can write one for another. What can be shared is what people watched and what they observed.

About c/tapering

Stopping on purpose: dose reduction versus interval stretching, what the discontinuation arms of STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about regain, appetite return timelines, and the people who came off, regained, and went back on without treating it as a failure.

c/tapering rules
  1. Cite the discontinuation data rather than guessing at regain rates.
  2. No shaming people who restart.
  3. Say how long you were on and at what dose before you tapered.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
