New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on lyophilised. I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source. Ordered from the warehouse in Spain instead of origin and the transit went from a fortnight to 9 days. Entirely different proposition in August. A transit temperature logger records a…
Seasonality, which the source-page lane tables show clearly once you look for it.
The same origin, destination and carrier can differ by several days between February and August, and the temperature exposure differs by much more than the transit time suggests. A lane that is uneventful in winter is the same lane that generates the summer threads.
Two practical consequences. First, compare like months when you compare lanes. Second, ask which lines a supplier holds in regional stock — a shorter leg in July is worth more than any amount of packaging.
Agreed on seasonality. The same lane in February and August is not the same lane.
Do you know what storage condition the stability statement covers?
Moved everything off the fridge door after reading a thread here and my temperature log immediately got boring.
Correction: that stability figure covers the lyophilised powder, not the reconstituted solution. Different claim entirely.
powder at room temperature for a few days is usually a non-event
