comment on [Lane Report] Shanghai → UK, DHL, quoted 7 days, actual 9, cold pack solid in c/intlshipping · 31 points · 2 days ago

Total transit decomposes into first mile, international leg, clearance and last mile. Only the first two are meaningfully under the shipper’s control and most reported variance sits in the last two.

comment on [PSA] research-use documentation is not a magic word in c/customs · 15 points · 4 days ago

ask the supplier what documentation accompanies the shipment

comment on [PSA] no tracking numbers. they identify both ends. removed on sight. in c/intlshipping · 217 points · 5 days ago

Four observations is not a distribution. The lane tables here only became predictive once individual routes had a dozen or more reports behind them.

comment on [Lane Report] Guangzhou → Australia, 11 days, ice pack gone but powder intact in c/intlshipping · 12 points · 6 days ago

Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.

comment on [Failure] 61.2% purity on a vial i had already been using for six weeks in c/darkspot · 0 points · 6 days ago

Same. The thing that went wrong for me was procedural and boring and it cost me a lot.

permalink

comment on [Announcement] sponsor disclosure, in full, again, because someone asked in c/meta · 3 points · 12 days ago

I would not archive earlier. The old threads are the most-searched thing on the site.

permalink

comment on [Country Guide] what changed in the import rules this year in c/customs · 2 points · 14 days ago

declared value and description are the shipper’s decisions, ask what they use

permalink

comment on [Failure] vendor vanished mid-order with 11 people waiting in c/darkspot · 42 points · 17 days ago

Agreed. The failures are the part that is missing from every other board, which is why this one matters.

comment on am I the only one who found hepatic fat harder than the injections in c/survodutide · 12 points · 20 days ago

Bought small because the evidence base is early. That is the only defensible position I could construct.

permalink

comment on am I the only one who found hepatic fat harder than the injections in c/survodutide · 13 points · 20 days ago

Which phase and which arm are you quoting?

permalink

comment on am I the only one who found hepatic fat harder than the injections in c/survodutide · 14 points · 20 days ago

the hepatic data is what makes this compound different from the others

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify personal import in c/customs · 1 points · 23 days ago

Same view — the rules where I am changed between one year and the next and nobody announced it.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice survodutide kicking in around week 89 in c/survodutide · 1 points · 26 days ago

not approved anywhere, and the boards forget that constantly

permalink

comment on Spain: carrier, and what it actually costs here in c/intlshipping · 102 points · 27 days ago

Correction: that was clearance time, not carrier time. The lane table separates them for exactly this reason.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] personal import is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/customs · 9 points · 29 days ago

jurisdiction first, everything else is downstream

permalink

comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on telehealth in c/compounding · 20 points · 1 months ago

What concentration is on the label, and does it match what you were expecting?

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the archive-after-a-year policy: keep, change, or scrap in c/meta · 1 points · 1 months ago

Checked the sponsor disclosure because I assumed it would be vague. It was extremely specific and slightly boring.

permalink

comment on the personal import thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/customs · 44 points · 1 months ago

Declared value and product description are chosen by the shipper. Asking what they use is a legitimate pre-order question and the answer tells you how routine this is for them.

permalink

comment on someone explain import to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/customs · 3 points · 2 months ago

a seizure notice is a document with a process attached, read it

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about lost money until somebody posts a number in c/darkspot · 23 points · 2 months ago

the thing that went wrong is usually procedural, not dramatic

permalink

comment on [Question] seizure — what am I missing here in c/customs · 18 points · 2 months ago

Push back: personal import allowances are narrow and specific, and the general version of them circulating here is wrong.

permalink

comment on genuine question about lost money that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/darkspot · 60 points · 2 months ago

Agreed. The failures are the part that is missing from every other board, which is why this one matters.

permalink

comment on [Results] 28 weeks, 11kg, and MASH was the hard part in c/survodutide · 5 points · 2 months ago

Disagree — that is a weight endpoint from a different programme and you are quoting it in a hepatic context.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about rules are guesswork in c/meta · 42 points · 2 months ago

removals get explained publicly where the rule allows it

permalink

comment on [Meta] the customs rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/customs · 1 points · 3 months ago

Clearance took four days and the carrier took eleven. I had been blaming entirely the wrong stage for a year.

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about telehealth is guesswork in c/compounding · 23 points · 3 months ago

Disagree — a 503B being registered does not make its preparations equivalent to an approved product. Different regulatory category entirely.

permalink

comment on reading seizure threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/customs · 10 points · 3 months ago

personal import rules are not the same as commercial import rules

permalink

comment on satiety: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/cagrilintide · 36 points · 4 months ago

Push back: the evidence base here is thin enough that a confident ranking against the established compounds is not supportable.

permalink

comment on how much of what we believe about what went wrong actually comes from failure threads in c/darkspot · 129 points · 4 months ago

Chased the scale instead of the measurements for a year and made myself miserable for no additional progress.

permalink

comment on the MASH thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/survodutide · 41 points · 4 months ago

a liver endpoint is not a weight endpoint with better marketing

permalink

comment on unpopular opinion: most of what gets said here about import is guesswork in c/customs · 65 points · 4 months ago

ask the supplier what documentation accompanies the shipment

permalink

comment on carrier — 23 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/intlshipping · 23 points · 5 months ago

Careful — the supplier does not control the last mile and most of your variance is in it.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] telehealth is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/compounding · 28 points · 5 months ago

That figure is the starting material purity, not the finished preparation potency. Two different tests.

permalink

comment on Sweden: state board, and what it actually costs here in c/compounding · 9 points · 6 months ago

What concentration is on the label, and does it match what you were expecting?

permalink

comment on [Lab] 24th independent test on QSC — 98.4% on a claimed 98.0%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/survodutide · 116 points · 6 months ago

It is a dual agonist at the GLP-1 and glucagon receptors.

Adding the standing caveat — unapproved compound, research material is not for human use.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify wiki in c/meta · 14 points · 7 months ago

Argued against the strict evidence rule for a year. Then read a supplier thread on another site and stopped arguing.

permalink

comment on the packaging question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/intlshipping · 7 points · 8 months ago

Regional stock replaces an international lane with a domestic one. That is a structural change to the distribution, not a marginal improvement, and it is why the warehouse question matters more than the carrier question.
