say which country or the thread is useless

Which day of the week relative to the shot does it hit?

permalink

comment on [Regulatory] state board actions worth reading if you use a compounder in c/compounding · 1 points · 7 days ago

Push back: "compounded is fine because a pharmacy made it" skips every question this board exists to ask.

comment on reta made me not want food OR water and that is its own problem in c/retatrutide · 3 points · 8 days ago

comparing reta phase 2 to sema phase 3 is comparing different things

comment on [Discussion] the compounding gap was a symptom, not a solution in c/compounding · 0 points · 10 days ago

salt forms are the recurring argument and the answer is boring

burned_once_twice is right about the concentration trap. It breaks arithmetic that has been reliable for months.

permalink

comment on [Question] does anyone get a COA from their compounding pharmacy in c/compounding · 5 points · 15 days ago

Correction: patient-specific refers to the prescription, not to a bespoke formulation. Common misreading and it changes the argument.

Which phase 2 arm are you quoting, and at what week?

Are you tracking heart rate at all?

permalink

comment on switched from compounded to brand and the titration reset itself in c/compounding · -29 points · 20 days ago

This. Compounded preparations carry no equivalence claim, and treating them as generics is a category error people make constantly.

permalink

comment on Poland: prescription, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1eu · 1 points · 23 days ago

That is an authorisation question and you have answered a reimbursement one. They are decided by different bodies.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify telehealth in c/compounding · 17 points · 2 months ago

Right, and the concentration genuinely can differ from the branded product, which breaks people’s arithmetic.

comment on [Lab] 9th independent test on MKM — 97.7% on a claimed 97.5%, and the trend is the interesting part in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 2 months ago

no names without evidence, that is the sidebar rule and it is a good one

permalink

What would the new rule do to the vendor evidence standard?

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about gallbladder in c/sideeffects · 26 points · 3 months ago

That symptom is not the one being described upthread. Two different things with similar names and the answers are not interchangeable.

the archive-after-a-year policy is deliberate

permalink

comment on help me understand retatrutide, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 4 months ago

the energy-expenditure story is mechanistically interesting and clinically unproven

permalink

comment on anyone else notice constipation kicking in around week 7 in c/sideeffects · 3 points · 4 months ago

Correction: that is a known effect of reduced intake rather than a direct drug effect. The distinction matters because the fix is different.

permalink

comment on help me understand triple agonist, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 54 points · 5 months ago

Sceptical of the extrapolation. Forty-eight weeks does not tell you about seventy-two, and the curve shape is exactly what is unknown.

permalink

comment on three years of fatigue threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/sideeffects · 1 points · 5 months ago

Same pattern here. It settled at a stable dose without me doing anything clever.

permalink

comment on help me understand glucagon, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 355 points · 7 months ago

That is body weight change, not fat mass. The trials report the first and people quote it as the second.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about 503B until somebody posts a number in c/compounding · 21 points · 7 months ago

Yes — asking which facility, by name, is the single most useful question and most clinics will answer it.

permalink

comment on group buy — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 6 points · 7 months ago

What is the exact domain, character for character?

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify wiki in c/meta · 1 points · 7 months ago

Submissions older than a year are archived: readable, linkable, and closed to new comments. That keeps a three-year-old thread from being reopened with a reply nobody will see in context.

permalink

comment on group buy — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 16 points · 7 months ago

Reported something here with dates and screenshots and was asked for the document trail. Fair challenge, and it made the report worth reading.

permalink

comment on group buy — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 1 points · 7 months ago

Correction: that domain is one character different from the one you posted, which is rather the point of this thread.

permalink

comment on group buy — 11 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · -28 points · 7 months ago

Domain age, registrar and certificate issuance date are all public and take about a minute to check. A site claiming years of history on a months-old domain is the cheapest signal available.

permalink

comment on [Question] the UK — has anyone got a straight answer on reimbursement in c/glp1eu · 13 points · 7 months ago

Read the published reimbursement criteria where I live rather than asking. Took twenty minutes and answered everything.

permalink

comment on [Question] retatrutide — what am I missing here in c/retatrutide · 5 points · 7 months ago

That is body weight change, not fat mass. The trials report the first and people quote it as the second.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify fatigue in c/sideeffects · -11 points · 7 months ago

How long has it been going on for now?

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the shortage list advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/compounding · 96 points · 8 months ago

This.

Disagreeing with this bit: registration is not equivalence, and the two get run together constantly.

permalink

comment on help me understand meta, I have read the wiki twice in c/meta · 15 points · 8 months ago

That is a complaint rather than a proposal. Bring wording and it can actually be discussed.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify heart rate in c/sideeffects · 0 points · 8 months ago

Most of the common complaints trace back to slowed gastric emptying — early fullness, reflux, nausea after a large or fatty meal. That is also why meal size and speed change the experience more than anything else.

permalink

comment on fake COA — 13 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/scamalerts · 155 points · 8 months ago

Was in a group buy that went quiet for six weeks. It resolved in the end, but the structure meant I had no visibility and no recourse the whole time.

permalink

comment on 14 months in and retatrutide is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · -1 points · 8 months ago

Sceptical of the extrapolation.

This is the sentence the rest of the board should read first. Phase 2 is not a label.
