if it matters, ask somebody qualified in your own jurisdiction

Have you asked the supplier what they declare?

comment on [Question] Canada — has anyone got a straight answer on special authorization in c/glp1canada · 5 points · 4 months ago

Yes. Cash prices vary and comparing them before assuming coverage is the only route is worth doing.

permalink

comment on fraud is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/scamalerts · 34 points · 4 months ago

Careful. What you are describing is a delayed shipment, and this board should not turn that into an accusation without more.

Has appetite changed, or only the scale?

A goal weight chosen before starting is a prediction made with the least information you will ever have.

ewan_hovland is right that the clothes tell you before the scale does.

ask which lines are held in regional stock before you order in July

comment on how much of what we believe about private plan actually comes from Canada threads in c/glp1canada · -3 points · 4 months ago

That is an employer plan process, and the provincial route is different in both form and timeline.

bence_zamora is right that a rejected claim and a denied authorization are different animals.

Compared cash prices across four pharmacies before pursuing coverage and the spread was larger than I expected.

the same product can be covered in one province and not the next

declared value and description are the shipper’s decisions, ask what they use

That delay was at clearance, not with the carrier. The lane table separates them for exactly this reason.

permalink

comment on why does nobody talk about CagriSema in c/cagrilintide · 6 points · 5 months ago

Asked a question here that turned out to be based on a mechanism confusion. Three people untangled it patiently.

permalink

comment on genuine question about data logger that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coldchain · 8 points · 5 months ago

That is a lane problem rather than a packaging problem, and the fixes are different.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring cloned site at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/scamalerts · 55 points · 5 months ago

Same. A batch-specific document requested before payment costs nothing and filters an enormous amount.

permalink

comment on Canada: Canada, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1canada · 4 points · 5 months ago

the exception drug status route exists in several provinces

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about dose stretching until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 4 points · 5 months ago

the trials that looked at withdrawal are unambiguous about what follows

permalink

comment on [PSA] PDF metadata are not what most of this community thinks it is in c/scamalerts · 8 points · 5 months ago

Lost money once, years ago, to a shop that pushed hard for a decision the same day. Every time I see that pressure now I close the tab.

permalink

comment on help me understand lean mass, I have read the wiki twice in c/glp1muscle · 11 points · 6 months ago

Right — strength retention is a free proxy and it tracks better than most people expect.

comment on reading failure threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/darkspot · 12 points · 6 months ago

Contemporaneous notes matter most in exactly the situations where people are least inclined to write them. Memory reorganises a bad fortnight into a tidier story with a clearer villain.

Cloned storefronts copy assets, layout and testimonial text. What they cannot easily copy is a batch-specific document that ties to a lot you can then have tested independently.

Carried an assumption over from the tirzepatide board and was corrected within an hour. Deserved.

comment on [Discussion] jurisdiction is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/customs · 1 points · 6 months ago

Correcting myself upthread: the guidance I quoted was superseded last year.

Shipped from regional stock or from origin?

The rules where I live changed between two orders six months apart. Nothing was announced; I found out by reading.

permalink

comment on [Lab] CPC cagri — Janoshik came back 98.4% against a claimed 97.5% in c/cagrilintide · 26 points · 6 months ago

The tolerability tables were more informative than the headline numbers, which is usually the case and never how it gets summarised.

a hold is not a seizure and people conflate them constantly

permalink

permalink

comment on genuine question about vendor that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/vendorvetting · 17 points · 7 months ago

Right — MKM publishes the method line on the certificate, and once you have seen one that does you notice every one that does not.

rohan_krastev is describing the batch record test and it is the fastest signal available before you spend anything.

permalink

comment on do PDF metadata actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/scamalerts · 17 points · 7 months ago

Not convinced. A payment window that closed is a payment window, not evidence of intent.

permalink

Dosing intuitions from the GLP-1 boards do not transfer. Different receptor family, different exposure-response, and no published schedule for members to reason from.

Read the combination paper twice before saying anything here. The monotherapy and combination arms tell genuinely different stories.
