The diabetes and obesity programmes are separate, with different populations and different primary endpoints. Reading a result across from one to the other is not a comparison.

Agreed on variability. Two people with the same average can have completely different days.

comment on why is nobody talking about the SURPASS-CVOT readout in c/tirzepatide · 50 points · 6 days ago

It is a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, and the GIP arm is the part that has no equivalent in the semaglutide threads. That is why the side-effect profile reads differently rather than just milder.

Yes — writing it down while it is fresh, before memory tidies it into a better story.

Went 10 to 12.5 on the calendar and had the worst fortnight of the whole run. Dropped back to 10 and everything settled.

Push back: "gentler than sema" is a population statement. Plenty of people on this board have the opposite experience and they are not doing it wrong.

Same. A batch-specific document requested before payment costs nothing and filters an enormous amount.

That was a hold rather than a loss, and it resolved. Updating rather than deleting.

Cloned storefronts copy assets, layout and testimonial text. What they cannot easily copy is a batch-specific document that ties to a lot you can then have tested independently.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring Zepbound at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tirzepatide · 6 points · 2 months ago

Yes. I stepped to 12.5 because the calendar said so, not because anything needed fixing, and I regretted it for a fortnight.

comment on exit scam is the most under-discussed thing on this board in c/scamalerts · 0 points · 3 months ago

Never name an individual. The sidebar rule exists because the cost of being wrong falls on a person and the benefit of being right falls on nobody in particular.

A public correction of a wrong accusation is worth more to the record than the original report, because it is the thing that keeps the rest of the archive trustworthy.

A report is useful here when it carries dates, the exact domain, what was requested, what arrived and what did not. Everything else is atmosphere.

Weekly dosing again, half-life in the same neighbourhood as sema, so a step change takes about a month to reach steady state. Judging a new step at day five is judging noise.

comment on three years of T2D threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/t2dglp1 · 22 points · 4 months ago

Correction: that trial is the diabetes programme and the figure you quoted is its glycaemic endpoint, not a weight result.

Ask for the batch-specific certificate before payment. Any operation with a quality system behind it can produce one; the request costs you nothing and it filters hard.

2.5mg is a four-week starting dose, not a maintenance dose. Worth being precise since people search these threads.

Careful. What you are describing is a delayed shipment, and this board should not turn that into an accusation without more.

Stopped for financial reasons and regained most of it. Not a moral story, just a budget and a documented outcome.

Push back: you did not lose that money by being stupid.

Disagreeing with the self-blame in this line. Some of it is luck and treating everything as a lesson is its own trap.

Domain age, registrar and certificate issuance date are all public and take about a minute to check. A site claiming years of history on a months-old domain is the cheapest signal available.

Adding the practical version: buy small from anyone new, test it, then decide.

Agreed. Dates and documents make a report. Adjectives make a thread.

Continuous monitoring shows the shape: postprandial excursions, overnight behaviour and time in range. Two people with identical A1c can have very different distributions.

Reported something here with dates and screenshots and was asked for the document trail. Fair challenge, and it made the report worth reading.
