comment on [Lab] three BPC vials, three vendors, purity all over the place in c/bpc157 · 1 points · 4 days ago

Small fix — 214nm, not 280nm. It matters here because the impurity you are asking about barely absorbs at the longer wavelength.

Correction: that domain is one character different from the one you posted, which is rather the point of this thread.

Cosigning the domain check. Character by character, every time, and paste it rather than typing it.

That is a report count, not a test count, and it changes how thin the evidence base actually is.

comment on does MASH actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/survodutide · 8 points · 1 months ago

Yes — nothing containing this is approved anywhere, which is the first fact and usually the last one mentioned.

Agreed that the endpoint definitions matter enormously and almost nobody reads them before quoting a response rate.

That is the controversial ordering, not the hot one. Different formula, different behaviour.

Went looking for independent results on Peptidology after seeing them named three times in a week. Found nothing verifiable in either direction.

The evidence standard on the vendor boards requires a document, a date or a named service behind any claim about a supplier.

Disagreeing with this bit: making individual cases public by default is worse for the person being moderated.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify moderation in c/meta · 1 points · 4 months ago

Yes. Nobody here is paid and the disclosure page says so in tedious detail, which is the correct level of tedious.

Cosigning. The batch identifier is load-bearing, and a certificate that cannot be tied to the vial in your hand is not about your vial.

ask for a batch-specific document before you send anything

RetaAndRegret2 has the group-buy risk right — it is structural, not a judgement about anybody in particular.

The ranking functions are published: the hot ordering combines score magnitude with age, and the controversial ordering weights total volume by the balance between up and down votes. Both are reproducible from the numbers on each submission.

This.

Adding the bit that always gets missed: the lot on the vial has to match the lot on the page, or none of this applies to your material.

Feed position is a function of early votes and time. That structurally favours agreeable early answers over correct late ones, which is why sorting by controversial occasionally is worth the effort.

A report is useful here when it carries dates, the exact domain, what was requested, what arrived and what did not. Everything else is atmosphere.

Ask for the batch-specific certificate before payment. Any operation with a quality system behind it can produce one; the request costs you nothing and it filters hard.
