Are you accounting for the powder volume, or is that where the confusion is?

bacteriostatic water has the preservative, sterile water does not

Correction: that gives 5 units, not what you have written. 30mg into 1mL is 30mg/mL and the division follows from there.

Not convinced by the attribution. That pattern tracks the cycle in your own log more closely than it tracks the dose.

Small fix — a U-100 syringe is 100 units per mL. If yours is marked differently it is not U-100 and the whole calculation changes.

The arithmetic in full: concentration is mass over volume, so 30mg into 2mL gives 15mg/mL. A U-100 syringe is graduated at 100 units per millilitre, so 0.75mg is 0.75 divided by 15 millilitres, which is 5 units.

That trial did not enrol the population you are asking about, so it cannot answer this.

Yes. The research gap is genuine; most of the trials were not designed to answer these questions.

Reconstituted at 2mL when I meant to use a different volume. Caught it because the units looked wrong on the barrel. Now I write 5mg/mL on the glass before I put the cap back.

Disagree with the "more water is safer" framing. It is not safer, it is just a different number to divide by.

The directory deliberately separates "we have nothing on this name" from "this went badly". Collapsing the two is how boards like this generate false certainty.

That is sterile water, not bacteriostatic. Same appearance, different product, and it matters for a multi-draw vial.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so treat everything in this thread as arithmetic about solutions rather than instructions for a person.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify PDF metadata in c/scamalerts · -4 points · 1 year ago
Never name an individual. The sidebar rule exists because the cost of being wrong falls on a person and the benefit of being right falls on nobody in particular.

comment on someone explain mg/mL to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/reconstitution · 62 points · 1 year ago
Agreed — units are volume.
Right, and the arithmetic behind it: 15mg in 2mL is 7.5mg/mL, so 1.5mg is 20 units.
