[Discussion] can we stop arguing about titration until somebody posts a number

Discussion Cold Box ×1 Long Haul ×2 Receipts ×2

The title is the whole question — can we stop arguing about titration until somebody posts a number — but here is why I am asking.

Dropped my injection day by two days once because of travel. Nothing happened. The panic was worse than the effect.

First month I lost almost nothing and nearly quit. Month two and three were where it all happened.

The appetite thing was the surprise. I expected to feel full. What I got was simply not thinking about food between meals.

Not medical advice, obviously, and nothing here is approved for human use. One person with a spreadsheet.

Weight change and appetite change are different endpoints on different timescales. Conflating them is where most of the confusion on this board starts.

The escalation schedule in the trials existed to keep people on the drug. It is a tolerability ramp, and it is why the label reads the way it does.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so anything in this thread about how a compounded or research vial "should" behave is a chemistry discussion, not a dosing one.

Careful. A four-week stall is inside normal variation and treating it as failure is how people escalate for no reason.

My stall was eleven weeks. Eleven. Then it moved again without me changing anything at all.

Yes. Week 62 is when almost everybody writes the "is it still working" post, and almost everybody is fine.

sema is weekly for a reason, the half-life does the smoothing

Small correction: 2.4mg is the maintenance ceiling on the label, not the starting maintenance dose. The distinction matters for anyone reading this later.

Kept a log from week one and the single most useful column turned out to be waist, not weight.

Agreed, and the bit people skip is that the ladder is a tolerance ladder. It is not a potency ranking.

sulphur burps made the first fortnight rough at each step up, then flattened out. Predictable enough that I started planning around it.

Disagree with this specific line. A pause at 1.0mg is not evidence that 1.0mg has stopped working.

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
