how much of what we believe about plateau actually comes from Wegovy threads

Meta Clean Column ×3

how much of what we believe about plateau actually comes from Wegovy threads — that is what I am asking, and I have already read the wiki twice.

First month I lost almost nothing and nearly quit. Month two and three were where it all happened.

Dropped my injection day by two days once because of travel. Nothing happened. The panic was worse than the effect.

Kept a log from week one and the single most useful column turned out to be waist, not weight.

That is everything I have. The rest is opinion and I have tried to keep it out.

The escalation schedule in the trials existed to keep people on the drug. It is a tolerability ramp, and it is why the label reads the way it does.

Strongly agree on protein. It did more for my fatigue than any of the things I bought to fix my fatigue.

nausea made the first fortnight rough at each step up, then flattened out. Predictable enough that I started planning around it.

Are you measuring anything other than weight? Waist is usually the one that keeps moving.

2.4 is a ceiling, not a target

Sceptical of the mechanism you are proposing. Gastric emptying slows, it does not stop, and the timings you describe do not follow from it.

Retitled to match the body. The original promised a comparison the post does not make.

Correct, and worth adding: the trial average is an average. Half the people in it did worse than 15% and were still on the drug.

Steady state after a dose change takes four to five half-lives, so the fair judgement point on a new step is about a month, not four days.
