stalled for 20 weeks at 2.4mg and I refuse to panic this time

Results Receipts ×9 Well Actually ×1 Slow Clap ×2

Thinking out loud about this: stalled for 20 weeks at 2.4mg and I refuse to panic this time.

The relevant figures are 20 weeks and 2.4mg, and they come from the same log I have kept the whole time.

Research-use-only material is not approved for human use, so anything in this thread about how a compounded or research vial "should" behave is a chemistry discussion, not a dosing one.

Week 64: 24kg down, early fullness basically gone since about week 8, and the honest headline is that nothing dramatic happened. It was boring and it worked.

If two or three other people have done the same thing we might actually learn something. Alone it is an anecdote.

What I would tell week-one me, in order of how much time it would have saved.

One: the first month is a tolerance check. You are finding out whether you can take this, not how much you will lose. Two: write down the dose, the day and the waist measurement. Three: a stall of under six weeks is weather, not climate. Four: reflux that arrives the day after the shot and fades by day four is the ordinary pattern and it usually settles at a stable dose.

None of that is advice about what you should do. It is the shape of the thing, which nobody explained to me and which the wiki explains better than I just did.

Standard reminder: no personal titration plans for other members, and no medical advice. Everything else is fine.

2.4 is a ceiling, not a target

Same. I sat at 1.0mg for three months because it was working and there was nothing to fix.

About c/semaglutide

Everything semaglutide: branded pens, compounded vials, oral formulations and the research-grade material people reconstitute themselves. Titration schedules, side-effect management, plateau troubleshooting and long-term maintenance. Dose questions are welcome; "what dose should I take" answers are not, because nobody here is your prescriber.

Before you read on

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
