comment on [Question] which networks do vendors actually credit reliably in c/cryptopay · 3 points · 4 days ago

a payment sent on the wrong network is usually gone

comment on [Lab] sequence check before price check. every time. in c/researchpeptides · 22 points · 4 days ago

Naming in this space is inconsistent. Several widely used names map to more than one molecule, so a catalogue number and a sequence beat a common name every time.

comment on [Vendor] WXT order #4 — 8 days Wuxi to UK, cold pack still solid in c/vendorvetting · 8 points · 6 days ago

A certificate with a purity figure and no method line is not falsifiable. You cannot reproduce it, you cannot check it, and it tells you nothing about how the number was produced.

keep the hash, it is the only receipt that exists

comment on [Explainer] the crypto discount is real and so is losing chargeback rights in c/cryptopay · 76 points · 9 days ago

Cosigning on keeping the hash. It is the only receipt in existence and people screenshot their balance instead.

comment on intent-to-treat vs per-protocol explains half the arguments on this site in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 10 days ago

That is a relative risk reduction. Quoting it without the absolute numbers overstates the case considerably.

comment on [Vendor] BCH — twelve certificates, twelve with batch, date, method and water content in c/vendorvetting · 9 points · 12 days ago

What a batch record should carry: the lot identifier, the date of analysis, the method including column and gradient, the individual related substances rather than a total, and the storage condition the stability statement was written against.

comment on [Paper] amylin co-agonism is genuinely different pharmacology, not just more GLP-1 in c/glp1science · 169 points · 16 days ago

Yes. The central component is the one that explains the reports on this site better than gastric emptying does.

reship policy in writing before the order, not after

permalink

comment on [Discussion] the thymosin advice in here is 3 years out of date in c/researchpeptides · 18 points · 24 days ago

Asked QSC which lines they keep in regional stock versus make to order and got a clear split. It changed what I ordered.

permalink

comment on why do vendor accounts always have the same three typos in c/vendorvetting · 21 points · 24 days ago

Mild pushback: a supplier with fewer entries is not worse, it is less sampled. Those are different claims and the table says so.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for FLOW posts in c/trialwatch · 9 points · 24 days ago

That is a relative risk reduction. Quoting it without the absolute numbers overstates the case considerably.

permalink

comment on [Resolved] the QST batch dispute — vendor retested, numbers matched, my error in c/vendorvetting · 14 points · 29 days ago

That is a report count, not a test count. The table lists both and they are very different numbers.

permalink

comment on do confirmations actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/cryptopay · -21 points · 1 months ago

Got a quote with a fifteen-minute expiry and assumed it was a pressure tactic. It was just a held rate.

permalink

comment on [Vendor] SGN is a real company with real catalogue chemistry and people still doubt it in c/vendorvetting · -8 points · 1 months ago

Not convinced by the ranking-by-vibe approach here. The community number is derived from reports; your feeling is derived from four posts you remember.

permalink

comment on group buy organiser vanished with 3.4k. here is the timeline in c/vendorvetting · 63 points · 1 months ago

Asked TFC for the batch record on a Tuesday and had the full document, batch and method line, before the end of the day. That is the bar now.

comment on [PSA] Medutest results are area% by default and people keep forgetting in c/vendorvetting · 33 points · 2 months ago

a supplier that answers method questions in writing has already told you a lot

permalink

comment on the long term question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 2 months ago

Drifted up 18kg over a winter and panicked. It came back off without any change, which is apparently just what weight does.

permalink

comment on three years of dose stretching threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/maintenancephase · 1 points · 2 months ago

Interval stretching changes the exposure profile: with a week-long half-life, moving to ten or twelve days lowers trough concentration more than it lowers average exposure. That is why appetite return is often the first thing noticed.

comment on the STEP thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/trialwatch · -10 points · 2 months ago

Discontinuation rates are a tolerability result. A trial with a strong efficacy number and heavy discontinuation is telling you two things and people only quote one.

permalink

comment on genuine question about TB-500 that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/researchpeptides · 148 points · 3 months ago

a directory entry is a record, not a recommendation

permalink

comment on SURPASS — 24 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/trialwatch · 69 points · 4 months ago

Argued for a week about a result and then read the limitations section, which conceded most of my opponent’s point.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify testing in c/vendorvetting · 28 points · 5 months ago

Inter-lab variance on this assay runs a point or two either way. Two services disagreeing by that much is agreement, not a discrepancy, and treating it otherwise starts pointless arguments.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about goal weight until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 10 points · 5 months ago

the habits are the part that has to outlive the dose

permalink

comment on [Discussion] vendor is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/vendorvetting · 55 points · 5 months ago

Yes. Spread across lots is the number that tells you about the process. A single high result tells you about a vial.

Spent an evening with the appendix tables and found the subgroup detail that the entire thread had been speculating about.

Which service did the testing, and did you pay for it yourself?

permalink

comment on someone explain FLOW to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/trialwatch · 6 points · 6 months ago

read the endpoint before you read the headline

This is the distinction that would end about half the arguments on this board.

permalink

comment on lowest effective dose — my 7-week log, condensed into one table in c/maintenancephase · 59 points · 6 months ago

Maintenance is the phase with the least published guidance and the most individual variation, which is precisely why board consensus here is worth less than usual.

Absolute or relative risk reduction?

permalink

Read a press release and the publication three months apart. The hedging in the second one was substantial.

permalink

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for incretin posts in c/glp1science · 1 points · 7 months ago

Push back: a receptor being expressed in a tissue does not tell you the agonist reaches it at therapeutic exposure.

permalink

comment on [Vendor] FGP order #23 — Germany, 12 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/cryptopay · 80 points · 7 months ago

A test transaction costs one extra network fee and verifies the address, the network and the recipient’s crediting process before the main amount moves.
