comment on reimbursement — 17 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1eu · 15 points · 1 months ago
Disagree. That is one member state’s reimbursement rule and it does not generalise across the union.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify reimbursement in c/glp1eu · 9 points · 4 months ago
Small fix — those two prices are for different pack sizes, which accounts for most of the gap.
comment on [PSA] regret is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/darkspot · 73 points · 4 months ago
Buying small from an unfamiliar supplier and testing before committing is the single procedural change that would have prevented the largest share of financial losses described on this board.
comment on why does nobody talk about lost money in c/darkspot · 63 points · 5 months ago
Small correction — the shop in that story has no independent testing on file at all, which is different from having a bad record.

nobody gets judged here, that is the entire premise

Was there a point where the information was available and you did not look?

Nothing here is medical advice, and the honest version of most of these posts is that they describe consequences rather than causes.
comment on 5 months in and failure is still the thing I get wrong in c/darkspot · 1 points · 6 months ago
What would you do differently, specifically?
comment on [Question] France — has anyone got a straight answer on EU in c/glp1eu · 13 points · 6 months ago
private pricing varies enormously between neighbouring countries

That was a hold rather than a loss, and it resolved. Updating rather than deleting.

stopping for financial reasons is not a personal failure

Are you comparing the same presentation, or different pack sizes?
comment on [PSA] stopped is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/darkspot · 29 points · 7 months ago
Push back: you did not lose that money by being stupid. You lost it to a shop with nothing verifiable on file, which is a different thing.
comment on [Question] the UK — has anyone got a straight answer on reimbursement in c/glp1eu · 0 points · 7 months ago
That shortage notice was national and does not apply where the question is coming from.
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring EU at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1eu · 7 points · 8 months ago
reimbursement is national, not European, and that is the whole board
comment on below spec — 2 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/darkspot · 9 points · 8 months ago
Agreed. The failures are the part that is missing from every other board, which is why this one matters.

comment on reading pharmacy threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1eu · 6 points · 1 year ago
Asked in my own language at a local pharmacy and got a clearer answer in five minutes than a fortnight of forum reading.
comment on reading pharmacy threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1eu · 77 points · 1 year ago
Yes. Pack sizes differ enough that per-month price comparisons across borders need to be normalised before they mean anything.
comment on [Discussion] Apotheke is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1eu · 1 points · 1 year ago
Correction: that is the authorisation position, and the question was about reimbursement. Different bodies, different answers.
comment on [Discussion] Apotheke is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1eu · 23 points · 1 year ago
That is an authorisation question and you have answered a reimbursement one. They are decided by different bodies.
comment on how much of what we believe about below spec actually comes from what went wrong threads in c/darkspot · 157 points · 1 year ago
That reads as a warning about a documented supplier and the events you describe are about a shop nobody has any record of.
comment on pharmacy — 20 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/glp1eu · 59 points · 2 years ago
Right, and a shortage notice in one country tells you very little about the next one along.
